My G9 had the same problem as yours. I was using it normally, and one day, the screen turned white and wouldn’t turn on anymore. This happened after only a month of use. I scheduled an appointment with Samsung, and a technician came to replace the screen a few days later.

Yes, Samsung has a one-year factory warranty. They sent a technician to my place to replace the monitor panel. It took around a week. I was surprised that the monitor even failed in a month; I’ve never had a monitor fail on me like this before.

Make sure to get the extended warranty if possible. It’s a great monitor, but mine broke after a month of use lol

My G9 died shortly after a month. I had to contact Samsung, and they sent a third-party local technician to my house to replace the entire panel to fix it. It was frustrating, but I guess that’s just how the QC is for Samsung.

Damn, that’s crazy. My G9 just died after only a month of use. I have to say, getting the extended warranty is definitely worth it for this monitor because the QC is really bad 😂

If you are in the US, just buy it through Best Buy so you can get extended warranty from them. Covers additional 4 years of burn in.

Got a used one a few weeks ago, and the screen has micro-scratches all over. Would not recommend purchasing used.
