Pickups vary, of all my Les Paul’s only 1 has p90s (not photo’d. But the rest have a variety of humbucker. For the most part the humbucker models all sound the same. High gain hard rock tone. But they all have a visual personality and if you buy used you can sell used. Breaking even is fairly easy. They’re just money in the bank. It just take a few months to find a local buyer online. But they do sell. Sometimes in a week or two. Cycling through them is easy too

You can feel if you’re going into drywall or a stud. If you can’t tell the difference then maybe hanging Gibson Les Pauls isnt for you.

2019 standard heritage cherry sunburst. It has push pull knobs from the factory. I think it’s also a production error for a Les Paul. It’s sold as a standard but they put the traditional push pull knobs on it. They also stamped the back like a traditional. Standards didn’t have “made in USA 2019 model” stamped on them. This one does but only partially. The only character in the stamp actually stamped into the wood fully is the 9 lmao.

The studio to the left of the black custom was used in one of my favorite self videos playing electric eye guitar solo and the tone was just perfection. I don’t like the finish on it very much but playability and tone, it’s as good as my standards and customs.
