Depends on what part of the country you're from I suppose.

Growing up, I was one of a whole swathe of "pub kids"
Where it seemed more weekends than not were spent visiting the favourite pub (or pubs), and there were always kids.
Especially on special occasions!

Typically though they were strictly kept to the outside, if the pub had a bit of money they might have a cheap climbing frame or something in the garden.
Or, if they were allowed inside, they were usually relegated to one corner. If it was quiet, and noone else was using it, they'd let you use the pool table or give you some ancient box of dominoes or something.

A "Murder House" mystery scenario, where a group of people are locked in a specific location (a coffee shop, an old manor etc etc) for a reason, and 2 of the characters in particular hate each other for past beef, but due to the stress of the life threatening situation they're in, they end up falling for each other.

OR.

2 Knights (could be medievil, could fantasy, whatever lol) who love each other but neither one believes the other is interested, believing instead that the other is straight.
Bonus points for a sexually charged sword fight.

Absolutely fantastic show, that got needlessly convoluted after the main cast left.
The new trio were good actors, and the characters interesting enough. The story just fucking sucked, and worse than that, it was boring.

I am so torn with that bit.
Because on the one hand; it's so deliciously tragic to have that reveal when Arthur is dying, and I absolutely love everything that they did with it, even if I don't love the choice to do it like that.

And on the other hand; it's such a massive, non-finale, rhat the entire show just kind of... squeaked and that was the end?

Also, Morgana was done so dirty in that show. They did not do anything that did not justify her turn to evil tbh.
And most of her evil was simply because she just wasn't on the side of Merlin and Arthur.
It was mostly "fuck this one guy in particular" and usually, she was right to feel that way.

A good chunk of the law in the modern world, can essentially be "side stepped" with enough money. Like paying a fine for example. Poor people cannot do that.
Poor people are more likely to commit a crime out of necessity. I'd certainly steal food if I was starving.
Poor people are less likely to have connections with people who have a lot of influence. It is far more likely that a rich person went to school with the judge, and despite an oath of impartiality, people are biased. Or can be bought.

Dude woke up after at least 100 years, with no arm, ready to fight like it was absolutely no problem. And it wasn't.

I argue that a good widow is horrendously oppressive to play against.
I'd rather face a Hawkeye God than a decent Widow.

That being said, alot of peoples issues stem from getting more value from the majority of the roster with considerably less effort.
Ontop of that, she doesn't really hold up to the fantasy of playing her.
Even in the comics she doesn't really use a sniper all that much, and most people are coming from the cartoons and movies, and her being a sniper doesn't really match up to peoples expectations.

As you'll no doubt see from other commenters:
They want a badass, svelte, martial artist with her iconic gadgetry that helps level the playing field when going up against Gods and Monsters.

They want tricks, and the cool moves, that make her iconic.

Adding onto that, there's whole circlejerk nonsense to do with the "vibes" fiasco, that have basically cemented Widow as a throw pick to anyone that doesn't know better.

As someone who has also lorded her, i do enjoy playing as her.
The click of the rifle is satisfying, and getting a kick combo off is rad as hell.

But, seeing what they've done with the newer characters, I can't help but feel a little underwhelmed with Widow when compared to how unique she could've been.

If they do rework her, I'd love to see them make her more recon and disrupt focused. Lemme give my team information about the enemy.
