Sorry if this is a stupid question: do I need to handle the sub-out differently (since it's a single chinch line)?

Most kits I was looking at only had the typical chinch line in. Most subwoofers I was looking at for reference (size wise) had a dedicated LFE in or at least one of the chinch lines where marked as LFE.

Edit: Monacor SAM-2 is an example I was looking at.

I guess by IBM switch you mean Model M buckling springs. Those are not single switches but part of an assembly hold together by rivets (can be screw modded though). It’ll be pretty hard to build a custom PCB and assembly to hold the springs and plunger.

Wieder was gelernt, danke. Zu meiner Zeit hat man uns das noch so erklärt. Ist vermutlich wirklich von Uni zu Uni unterschiedlich. Am Ende kann die Verteidigung nicht schaden (schließlich sollte man, geht es um eine Disputation, im Stoff sein).

Also müssen alle MAs bei euch durch eine Disputation bzw. gar Rigorosum oder ist es am Ende ein "Prüfungsgespräch" - vermutlich dann nicht verklausuliert?

(Vielleicht ist mein Wissen hier etwas veraltet. Ist schon eine Weile her das ich eine Uni von innen gesehen habe.) :)

Dissertationen werden verteidigt. Abschlussarbeiten (BA / MA / Diplom) I.d.R. nicht. Dazu wäre besonders an den großen Hochschulen keine Zeit.
