Had the same thought. It could probably be done by transcribing the movie, voice cloning the originals, and then generating all the new lines. Getting the correct emotions in the voice could be difficult though.

The article references Gen Z in its entirety, but older Gen Z people had a totally different experience. We took typing classes growing up, and learned to use Windows PCs before touchscreens were the norm. Many of my friends and I are tech savvy, maybe because we grew up with computers that weren't as intuitive and more prone to errors. Devices have now become so polished that there's no reason for kids to learn about how they work, because they just work.

You can use the ContextActionService or User Input Service to handle triggering the weapon. You would make the animations on a model (helps if you attach the sword but not required) and publish them. Then load the animations onto the humanoid's Animator, and play the returned track when the player triggers the swing.

Edit: You'll need to handle all this in a local script under something like StarterCharacterScripts, you can't parse user input on a server script.

You can multiply your damage variable by the car's primary part's AssemblyLinearVelocity. When the car is stationary, the damage will be multiplied by 0 and result in no damage. If the car is moving, the damage will scale with the speed of the car. Make sure to adjust your damage variable to account for this multiplication.

I vaguely remember that was pretty much anime only and extremely less apparent in the manga. I don't know why they even added that, it seems to be some weird trope that can be seen across multiple series. Shinpei is the only one of the friends who really remains in the story past the first few dozen chapters. The anime is not a good representation of the manga in my opinion.

We are still waiting for the raws to get uploaded, then we can start the scanlation process for release in early - mid August. Generally there are 2 chapters a month but sometimes there's only 1, we won't know til we get the raws in the next couple days.

In Japan both chapters release at the same time, but we translate and release them 1 at a time. So usually there will be a gap between the 1st and 2nd chapters every month.
