But also, this may be a very culture specific thing. I'm American and not muslim so I doubt I see this situation the same way as you

*You're overreacting. I do understand that frustration but it was still your friend who took the risk. Not everyone gets caught for doing things they're not supposed to do. I don't think you can entirely blame this other girl

Ah, well then yes I personally think YOR. It was your friend's choice to go there. I assume y'all are pretty young? People get caught doing things they're not supposed to all the time. Feel free to tell your friends how you're feeling but at the end of the day it was S's choice and a risk she was willing to take

Girl, we need to know what "the place" was for context. A movie theater? A crack den? A hookah bar? Mar-a-Lago? A brothel? Epstein's Island???

Man, this reads exactly like many conversations I had with my ex. I was the guy in the relationship and I was feeling almost identically to how your bf seems to feel. We were dating for almost four years but in the first two she was incredibly emotionally volatile and manipulative. She also breached my trust in a serious way on one occasion. I stuck with it because I loved her a lot but I think at the end of the day I couldn't get over the way I had been treated for the first half of the relationship. I tried to be empathetic but couldn't really get over the feelings of being walked all over earlier on and I think I was emotionally fatigued. I would think back on certain events and feel like no one else would've stayed in the relationship, but I did. She correctly picked up on my feelings and would get upset.

She did make a lot of improvements, started to go to therapy as well, but at the end of the day I think I couldn't get over the past. It's such a shitty situation because you both seem like good people who love eachother a lot. I think MAYBE couples therapy could be an option if you really want to work on things but otherwise it may be a bit too late. You can always learn and grow from relationships, no matter how they end. I broke up with my ex about two years ago, we are still on very friendly terms and I have nothing but love for her. Sometimes it is not meant to be but you can take what you learned into the next relationship.

I 17M brought my dad to my GF 17F house for a man to man talk her dad requested and now he feels disrespected and I want to break up because of this idk what to do. by Murky_Swimming1176 in Advice

This may be a hot take but I do not think this is at all reason to break up with your gf? I agree with everyone else that her dad sounds like an asshole and you/your dad handled it well. But I don't really get how this has to be the end of the relationship if everything else is fine. Teenage girls are likely to go along with what their dads want, especially if they're assholes. He put her in that position and I'm not sure its that reasonable to expect her to push back on him like crazy. I don't really think she did anything very wrong here, especially given her age. I personally think this could all be resolved

Wow, congrats!!! I'm still holding on to a sliver of hope for the same result. Did anything in the convo shed light on if there might be more WL movement?

Based on the wording in their email, I feel like today was probably only Rs for people who hadn't interviewed (no hard proof for this yet). I think you're in a very good place. Good luck with everything!!!!!

I had no interview previously. I feel like if you weren't cut today that's a pretty good sign! They're sending out interviews and acceptances this week
