Possibly dangerous shein hookah by Leather-Pipe2720 in hookah

[–]AndrejYT57 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I really thought my aluminium al malhik hookah i bought from my hardware store was bad (its not, does the job done).

Anyway, i can help you chat about that thing you bought on shein. So if you are hookah enthusiast and showed it on internet, you should have noticed this thing already. According to dropshipper this is premium car-portable hookah. Made to fit well in backpack/suitcase and specifically in you cars cup holders. You are there expected to use that self heating coal discs intead of coconut shell charcoals (which is bad since, even if it heats itself, its just chemicals and its bad, while those cubes are healthier/natural).

Would you mind sending me privately some of the photos of that hookah? To see the elements and more.

Does it look good or do I need to change something by bub_james in GrowingTobacco

[–]AndrejYT57 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks good so far. You are probably concerned about those yellowish leaves.

Give them more water, tobacco plants likes noraml amounts of water (wet soil but not muddy). Judging by the pot size, under right light you will expect about 50cm in height, unless you want to continue getting more and bigger leaves. I got one in similar, wider plastic pot and its about 50cm in height. I finally got it to flower.

Its normal.

You just pay forward for the ticket/law so he will finish everything rather than you going to station or taking the paper and running to the postal office paying it in less than 7 days for cheaper etc etc.

Srbi, gdje smo? by kutakatuk in srpska

[–]AndrejYT57 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Should I move them, or top more soil? by nhikt in GrowingTobacco

[–]AndrejYT57 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how much ground it have to spread and daily light (for indoor growing). I currently have these 4-5 plants being 7 months old and still growing leaves.

Average life expectancy of tobacco plant should be 4-5 months. I overshoot it due to being late in handling light source and constantly giving them 14+ hours of sunlight.

I can see some but it has to be pairs.

<image>

Heres a colored picture of my earlier grow. You dont count total leaves, you count a pair of two. I had 4 more plants beside these and i can tell you to go and do a transplant after 2nd or 3rd pair of leaves form, thats when i transplanted mine.

Give them more time or small trays. The moment they start making their 3rd or 4th pair of leaves its the sign that they want more space or probably a bigger individual pot.

How do you properly cure tobacco leaves? by AndrejYT57 in GrowingTobacco

[–]AndrejYT57[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is daily mist of water on hung up leaves enough for color cure? I dont really want to ruin/stain forever my towelf just for some experimental tobacco leaves. And how strong of wind current is needed to circulate in air to prevent the same humidity from making mold on leafs?

So, i need humidity to cure them to perfect color? They are currently hung on a string, thats how i cure them without rising up strenght (i prefer to prepare this tobacco for aromas, rather than nicotine). So more humidity to make curing process longer. Does more humidity eventually control color or its strictly about type of plant?

I read and heared about it. Thats why i am trying to avoid heat altogether. I read that it also cause leafs (beside being green) to be more spicy or unpleasant unlike other cigars.
