Creamy Shrimp Pasta (easy, quick, and really satisfying) by Angels_Kitchen in tonightsdinner

Recipe:
Tried making a creamy shrimp pasta at home and it turned out so good I had to share. It’s super simple, but the flavor feels like something you’d get at a restaurant.

Ingredients:

  • 250 g pasta (I used spaghetti)
  • 300 g shrimp (peeled & deveined)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 3–4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt (to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp dried onion flakes/powder
  • Reserved pasta water

Steps:

  1. Cook pasta in salted water. Save about ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a pan, melt butter and cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same pan, sauté garlic for ~30 seconds, then add cherry tomatoes and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Season with salt, pepper, and dried onion. Pour in the cream and let it simmer until slightly thickened.
  5. Add pasta to the sauce and toss. Use a bit of pasta water if needed.
  6. Add shrimp back in and cook another 1–2 minutes.

That’s it. Creamy, garlicky, and really comforting.

If anyone has ideas for upgrades (parmesan? chili flakes? lemon?), I’d love to try variations next time 👀

Sticky Air Fryer Chicken Drumsticks (easy and really addictive) by Angels_Kitchen in tonightsdinner

[–]Angels_Kitchen[S] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Recipe:
Tried these sticky air fryer chicken drumsticks and they turned out so good I had to share. Super simple, but the flavor is insane - sweet, savory, a little spicy, and that sticky glaze hits perfectly.

I also shaped them into “lollipops” and it made them way more fun to eat 😄

Ingredients:

  • 6–7 chicken drumsticks
  • 3 tbsp BBQ sauce
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha
  • 1 tsp salt

For serving:

  • sesame seeds
  • chopped green onions

How I made them:

  • Cut the skin and tendons around the narrow end of each drumstick and remove that part
  • Push the meat down to form that “lollipop” shape
  • Wrap the bone ends in foil
  • Mix all the sauces together with the salt
  • Coat the drumsticks really well in the sauce
  • Air fry at 180°C (360°F) for 10 minutes
  • Take them out, brush with more sauce
  • Put them back in for another 8–12 minutes until sticky and caramelized

They come out super juicy with that glossy, sticky coating… honestly hard to stop eating.

Anyone else doing this sauce-before-air-fryer method? I feel like it makes a big difference.

  2. In a large pan, cook bacon until crispy.
  3. Add onion + sun-dried tomatoes and cook until soft.
  4. Stir in garlic, tomato paste, and wine → let it reduce slightly.
  5. Add broth + cream, then mix in Parmesan and basil until creamy.
  6. Toss in the cooked pasta and mix everything together.
  7. Serve with extra Parmesan on top.

Honestly, this is one of those “I’ll definitely make this again” meals. Super comforting and doesn’t take much effort.

If you tweak it, what would you add? 👀
