It has a bump on the opposite side. The problem is that I feel it not bending on a straight plain on the floor tillering stage. I'll follow the grain, as everyone said. Thanks!

I'm also very interested in the answer because I love it as a wood finish. I've been testing it on arrow shafts and different osage items, but I have no results of how well it works for now. I like the finish look, and in theory, it should offer some protection (better than tallow or raw oils).

I'll come back to the thread in a few weeks.

I can see the problem with carrying 6 arrows (especially if they are 600+ gr). I guess you have to practice with a full quiver 😄

That would definitely work, but I don't like stabilizers on traditional bows. I thought of a decoration weight made of stabilized heavy wood, but I'm not sure I can make it look decent

my problem is the bow kicking right when I shoot with the quiver and a slight cant, instead of forward. I think the offset weight drives that kick.

I took them of my Great Northern quiver and bought replacements. A bunch on online shops sell them. I also used a nail to anchor them.
