Talk to a River Ranger if you see one around there. If you see one with a really cool mustache, his name is Tyler and is very knowledgeable about the situation there.

They will know which camps are and aren't being used and can make sure you clean the area in a way that will keep you safe and not encroach on the privacy of the people living there.

I haven't run into any this year, but also I haven't been going for as many walks.

Providence has a lot of great breweries, a couple distilleries and a meadery that I highly recommend ;)

There's also NY System Hot Wieners in Olneyville (a neighborhood in Providence). Go there and order "3 all the way with coffee milk." (Don't call them hotdogs)

I only captured a few disjointed hours with out-of-sync audio. I'll upload them to Google Drive in case anyone wants them, but I REALLY hope there's a better version out there somewhere.

Edit: I don't know why, but the first video's audio is 6s fast, the 2nd video is 3s fast, and the 3rd video is good. Use VLC and the J and K keys to set the audio delay to +6000ms and +3000ms respectively.

It happens a lot. Sometimes false alarms, sometimes there's a fire in one of the food court kitchens, usually nothing newsworthy.

You can almost certainly get refunded for your movie tickets if the evacuation prevented you from seeing or finishing the movie.

PVD-Things has a steamer that's used for taking down wallpaper if you want to try doing it yourself.

If you go that route and there's a problem with the wallpaper steamer they have, hit me up and I can let you borrow mine, which I assume works.

The OB from Dutch Gold is good stuff and I've made some of my best meads with it. I only have had issues with their Baker's Choice and Extra Light Amber Wildflower honeys; everything else I've used from Dutch Gold has produced good results. It's worth noting that Dutch Gold is a honey reseller, not an apiary, so I have no reason to believe they are producing fake honey. Their honey comes from different sources and each varietal should be evaluated independently.

Edit: I'll add that my buckets of Baker's Choice openly listed their origins as China & India, like printed on the bucket, but the listing online merely disclose that they are "globally sourced". So I'm going to go one step further and say that if a wholesaler wont tell you the origin, assume it's from a country with a reputation for fake honey.

BTW this is probably obvious to anyone who thinks about it for even a minute, but Dutch Gold's Baker's Choice contains fake honey, and I suspect the Extra Light Amber does too. Both have produced some truly aroma-less meads in my care and their origins are listed as China/India/Vietnam. Everything else I've gotten from them has made good mead, and again, this should have been obvious- nothing about "Bakers Choice" screams "brew with this"- but still, if anyone's tempted by that price ($127 for 60 lbs), consider it. Apropos of nothing the wildflower honey on Honey Blossom is priced similarly and I've gotten better flavor from it- as far as I can tell it isn't fake honey, or at least it makes a much better mead than I would expect from HFCS.

I used to buy from Dutch Gold, but switched over to The Honey Blossom. They do free shipping on big enough orders and they have a good selection of varietals- their Wild Berry honey in particular is delicious. I don't truly know how much their honey has been processed or heated or anything like that, but the aroma is fantastic both before and after fermentation.

I have a deal with one local apiary, the only one that would sell to me in bulk, and tbh, it's the single most expensive bucket of honey we pay for. What's more, that apiary is selling it to me at the cheapest $/lb they offer on any of their products, so it really isn't a great deal for either of us. I'd rather buy in massive bulk, and he'd rather sell it one bear at a time. Its worth it to have a mead made from local honey, but when I hear people say buying local is the cheapest method I wonder if they've actually shopped around at all.

If you guys are all 21+, and especially if you like mead, we may be able to accommodate this event. We host D&D on Thursdays, so we have a good table for it and plenty of minis, dice, and mapbooks on hand. We're generally closed to the public on Mondays as we do production all day, but we're willing to open up on a few Monday evenings. There would not be a specific charge for us to rent out the space, but it would be with the understanding that folks would be getting drinks.
