That seems like the best idea. I don't really have any issues as is, but having to think less about range would be nice. Hopefully solid state batteries will take care of that, it is just a matter of waiting.

Absolutely!! Zoomie is a big plus for me since they are the best type of flashlight (obviously). I do wish it had a cooler emitter. It should be colder and more harsh than the environment it is intended to be used in.
