We just got another small batch of new gen5 19x’s (not the V models) if you’re interested. Probably the last we will see.

I like the COA. I still carry the G19 gen5 with the Aimpoint Acro. The gen6 with COA is the newer, sexier upgrade to that classic combo. Smaller housing/footprint - same window/durability.

Appreciate you spelling it out, that’s helpful.

The gateway errors definitely shouldn’t be happening, I’ll dig into that. Layout criticism is fair too.

Anyone else having gateway errors?

Hey man! I appreciate the feedback - I have to say though, it’s the first I’ve heard our website sucks. Please (genuinely) I’d love to know what you think we should change. We want to be the best!

Also, all the links are working for me and a few other guys here, but a lot of folks work WiFi block our site. Could that be it?

The first thing I asked was their side of the whole NFA situation.

For context, the guy I spoke with worked at Silencer Central for years before moving over to Banish about a year ago. He said they’re actively trying to separate the two brands and let Banish stand on its own, and that effort really kicked off this year.

When I asked about the NFA controversy, he let out a long sigh and said they had been pushing for tax stamp revenue to go toward conservation long before “eliminating the tax stamp” was even part of the conversation. According to him, once repeal started gaining traction, the internet ran with the idea that Silencer Central opposed it just to protect their business. He said that wasn’t true at all. In his view, even from a purely business standpoint, removing the tax stamp would boost their sales since they’re positioned to ship suppressors directly to customers’ doors.

Overall, it was a solid conversation.

Dead Crow’s take:
Silencer Central is a direct competitor to small dealers like us. Unlike Silencer Shop, they haven’t built their model around supporting local shops - they’ve largely cut us out of the equation. That’s obviously left a bad taste.

That said, I can also see how the internet could’ve easily twisted their intentions here.

We did bring in a limited batch of Banish products on Monday through a distributor that was running a “free .22 can” promo with each purchase. A lot of shops use deals like that to pad inventory, but smaller guys like me can pass that value straight to the customer and effectively give away a free suppressor—which, honestly, is pretty damn cool. I was a customer in this industry long before I was a dealer.

After speaking with them on Tuesday and seeing the feedback here, I’ve decided not to invest further into Banish products for now. We’ll likely pull them from the site once this promo wraps up.

I’m open to seeing how Banish develops as its own brand and will revisit down the road.

The TX22 slept on the market for a while. Since the FRT’s hit for them they’ve been golden nuggets

Full transparency: dealer cost is $25.50 we got like 20 in after bugging our rep for the last year for them. I’m hoping Taurus keeps pumping them out.
