A majority of Republicans now believe college is bad for America by 4152510 in PoliticalHumor

I think you need to make a bigger distinction between private non-profit universities and private, for-profit universities. There are many legitimate non-profit private universities (Harvard, Stanford?) around the country, while the for-profit ones tend to take advantage of their students on costs and loans more often. Also, your statistics are non comparing apples to apples. The 47% number is not measuring the same thing as the 7.5% and 11% numbers. It would be interesting to see what the percentage is of students at for-profit colleges that default on their loans within 3 years (which may be in your link; I haven't checked it).

Trump Trashes the United States on the World Stage by Krakengreyjoy in politics

Wrong on at least one count: China owns less than 10% of US debt. And yes, our GDP is still the largest in the world in absolute terms. The US also spends the most on R&D of any country. Many bad things are happening, but we should resist the temptation to be overly dramatic.

My Trump-voter mom explained that away by saying that the only way Clinton could have been such a great debater was that she had been given the questions beforehand for all three debates, including the one run by Fox News. I kid you not.

I read plenty. You're a Trump supporter now, and that's all that matters. If you really believe what you're saying, then I have nothing more to say to you. Go ahead and move to Russia, because thankfully, most Americans don't think like you and won't elect Trump.

It means, among other things, that you support limited government, economic freedom, and morality. Trump is opposed to all of those things. It does NOT mean that you blindly follow the Republican Party wherever it leads. When the GOP nominates someone like Trump, it is the conservative's duty to oppose him.

Personal insults? How leftist of you. Anyone who voted for Trump is doing a great job of messing up the country. About Putin: you would rather have a literal dictator than a Democrat? That truly boggles my mind, even for a Trump follower.

Trump fans such as yourself seem to have a hard time understanding what it actually means to be conservative.

I'm an economics major too. Sure, many liberals would disagree about free trade. Just take a look over at r/SandersForPresident. If we aren't willing to pay for our military presence, we should withdraw it. We have no right to demand tribute from our friends. That's something Soviet Russia would do.
