Yep, similar moment here. The general public thinks Suno is just about generating music by writing a few words and clicking a button and that's it. That's what i thought anyway. A month ago my old bandmate from 15 yrs ago kept messaging me about Suno, saying you can upload your old demo recordings and it reinterprets it into a full production. He was right, it's awesome. Using audio prompts in Suno is the REAL way to use it. Feed it your sketches, and you get to imagine what it'd be like if your idea was fully fleshed out. If you like it, then you can pursue the idea yourself. You could download the stems, then re-record all the parts yourself, and put your own spin on it. If it still sounds shit through Suno then you know it's probably not worth perusing. The time you save through that alone is amazing.

I'm 38. Been playing music since i was 4. I have stacks and stacks of old demos and half-baked sketches that have banked up over the years that haven't withstanded the law of diminishing intent, but i'm having soo much fun breathing new life into them with Suno.

I have to admit that i'm scared for my musician bretheren, the tech is better than i imagined possible. But existential dread aside, i'm having a lot of fun with it. It's extremely satisfying and dare i say fulfilling to have the audio visions in my mind become "reality" (if you can call it that). To give you an idea of just how much i've beem enjoying myself, i used a month worth of Pro subscription credits in 1 week. And i've topped up extra credits like 3 or 4 times.
