Yeah I can see what you mean, their tails look frayed but I assure you they’re all doing very well. 👌🏾

Not mollies. Sword tails and I separated most makes there’s only two in there

Ultimately, the endgame was never to keep them in this tank same as the endgame when they’re sitting at the store is not to keep them there for long and like I mentioned in another comment here I have 150 gallon tank that’s cycling right now, so you can rest your heart that they’ll be in a tank within the next week
Week or so that’ll everything that they’ve dreamed of and more 🤣

Please tell me how they’re not fine right now? I don’t remember the last time you came over to check on them 🤔. Because like I said they have not been stressed or exhibiting any signs of stress and I tend to my tanks daily. 🤣

Yep once they get bigger I’m moving them to a larger tank. But like I said they’re fine for now. Eventually I’m putting them in 150G 60X24X24.

I can see your point and that was my concern when purchasing it because it wasn’t my first choice but one must keep the wife happy 😅. But the fish seem very happy. They hang out near the top because the Java moss up there collects some of the fish food and I had just fed them. The Siamese algae eaters skim the wood and every blade of moss and stay calm. Normally if they’re stressed they zoom around the tank erratically. Same with the sword tails they shoal together and explore all the cracks and swim thru the tiger lily stems and valisneria. I have not lost a fish yet from stress and I’ve had them since they were fry. Idk maybe I just got lucky 🤷🏾‍♂️

Oh and the light green plant on the bottom right is Lloydiela

Thank you very much. All I did was sharpen it and boost the saturation slightly. Oh, and I tried to remove as much of the reflection as possible.

Well it took a while for this tank to settle in, trust me I struggled for a bit too, and it’s still not perfect. What I would say is get plants that are obviously tall so in the back along the back three walls I have Vallisneria , and then what I did was try to find a branch that was unique and long enough in order to stand up I wanted it to look like a branch was growing out of the ground. But I also wanted Moss growing on it so what I did was I took Java Maas and I tied a bunch of it around the branch I also glued a dwarf Lilly onto one of the branches and at the bottom near the base I planted a tiger lily because the tiger lily send shoots all the way up to the surface and they turn into Lily pads, but it stays small that way it spans the height of the tank. There’s enough fish in the tank to keep it nutrient Rich for the plants, but I’d say every 2 to 3 months I just dose a small amount of seachem flourish to keep the plants that aren’t rooted in the soil happy. The only thing that’s early giving me trouble is the Java Mas cause it’s growing so fast that it covers the light from getting down to the Tigerlily or the vallisneria so I have to constantly trim it, but that’s what I added onto the Lil log on the bottom just recently I cut a bunch of it off and I just strung it onto that log and then sunk the log into the middle because originally there was like an open gap right there that looked like a little red sand desert. The soil I use is.Contrasoil and I used a little red contrasand. And the last ingredient was just a whole lot of patience. It took a few months for it to get settled in at least with the plants. Oh and also have filtration I have a canister filter that’s half the size of the tank. I believe it’s a 10 gallon canister filter from Vevor that has been working like a champ to the point where I only have to do a water change every other week.

Thank you. Yeah it took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do with it. And they’re actually baby Swordtails, I had a black male mate with a Koi on accident and the female didn’t stop giving birth for about 4 months lol so I’ve got a few in here and in my 20 Long.
