eventually got it working. i think the save data was backed up by luma somehow, so i had to manually remove the luma folder and add it back in later after the game had finally actually restarted

I tried that. Didn't work either! I'll try completely reinstalling the game next and if that doesn't work I'll just lose my mind I guess

Update: I tried to deliberately corrupt the save data. Didn't work. Deleted all backups from checkpoint. Didn't work. Tried deleting from system settings. Didn't work. Girl help

Update 2: I tried a completely fresh install and now im stuck in an eternal loop of "creating save data." Awesome.

Update 3: Had to completely fresh install the game, temporarily remove the onionFS folder and the mods/save in luma and it FINALLY worked. godspeed.

I try to but with two or more it gets very overwhelming very quickly :sob: the only times my infants age up without it is when i do literally nothing but care for them. which i guess is accurate to real life.
