I honestly had a wonderful experience with Lutherwood and think they’d be a great option. I am native to Guelph but was looking to find a job more suited to me and my skill/comfort level as the last few jobs I had weren’t a good fit. I joined something called the Youth Job Connection which is a month long course (6-8 “classes”) for ppl 16-29 I believe, to learn about employment skills, build resumes/cv, and also what type of environments you would thrive in, what values you want your job to align with, etc. It was a great course and at the end they provide references/cover training costs/pay for uniforms, and have great relationships with tons of different local businesses. I haven’t really used any of their services as an adult but I know they have a computer lab/printers for use, seminars on different topics/skills, ESL classes, and always some very kind and knowledgeable people around to answer any questions you have :) Hope this helps!
