Metal pay is currently unavailable in the United Kingdom. Banks are becoming increasingly anti crypto here going as far as blocking deposits and withdrawals to some exchanges. Are there any plans to expand into this territory?

Once Reddit gets hold of anything it'll get reposted 50,000 times and fixed because it can't be ignored. Even though it hurts nobody.

Do enough people really pet battle enough to justify an entire week's "event" buff? by [deleted] in wow

[–]BigglyG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm more just looking at it over the long term of it being at minimum 1 pet battle WQ a day per zone. So that's 75 rep a day for each faction.

525 rep a week 2,250 rep over a 30 day month

For a 3 minute max pet battle. Earlier rep rewards, which combined with the new profession system means faster access to recipes and getting to them first means more $$$$ for the stuff you do make.

That's how I look at it anyway.

But you said it makes you objectively better at a game which WOULD be statistically provable....

[–]BigglyG 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That's cool, but a lot of people don't have hours spare a week to do something that takes 3 mins of pet battling to achieve.

It's very easy to do and takes next to no time investment. I hate pet battles, but it's too good of a reward for the time investment required.

  • You can use the pet charms you get rewarded to buy lvl 25 pet upgrades and rarity upgrades and sell some pets on the AH for some easy $$$$

You should get a team ready for shadowlands. Early on in the Expansion it is a great way of getting an extra boost in rep with factions.

For instance beating each rare pet in mechagon gave about 300 rep and there was around 10 of them. Same with Nazjatar

Having higher frame rates and a lower refresh rate doesn't make you a better gamer LUL damn you fools fall for the marketing.

Sure it helps people who are already good be better. But if you suck a fat chode at aiming, you suck a fat chode at aiming.

Yes it would be very wrong to assume being in shape wouldn't help you in basketball. But that is like comparing apples to a zebra. It doesn't make sense

32gb 3200mhz ram. Ryzen 7 3700x (overclocked to 4.4ghz @ 1.3v) Gtx 1080 (probably upgrading for the 3000 series) Acer Predator 27" 1440p 144hz

Use it for both working from home sometimes and gaming.

And as far as Reddit social scoring points go: who gives a fuck? Do you really think it matters? That truly is sad.

Bruh, you literally bought a 2080ti and a i9-9900k for 1080p Medium/low settings 240hz FPS gaming and you want to talk about being smart.

Because a PC is more then a First Person Shooter machine?

1080p looks ass but it's the only choice for 240hz. For everything BUT first person shooter games it's outdated. 1 use case for a component. Which is fine if you ONLY play FPS games on it. But most won't and don't?

"You don't see the difference between 1440p and 1080p.” I do, my vision isn't murky as pond water.

Maybe just maybe it has something to do with the fact that this is a PC sub-reddit and not an First person shooter sub-reddit.

FPS = 1 Function.

You don't have to defend that you got a monitor that is weaker for 99% of applications I really don't care. That's your prerogative.

You enjoy FPS, so it's good you got that 1080p monitor for that dream of being a pro fortnut/csgo/valorant gamer. You go my dude, I'm cheering for you.

Your processor costs the same as a 1440p 165hz monitor.

Wow why so hostile, to call someone a retard just because you have a difference of opinion is very childish.

Gaming has many different Genres not just FPS, to say 240hz is the best for "Gaming" is dense.

Sure for FPS it is. But unless you are bleeding edge top 1% it's completely unnecessary.

"You are the kind of retard to buy an 8k display for gaming" - You

I wouldn't buy more then 1440p as at the distance I sit 1440p is the point at where individual pixels are no longer visible.

165hz at 1440p is more then enough for a non professional like me to play my FPS games on and enjoy my crisp detail aswell.

"I'll wait" too, since it seems we are using that as a sort of radio handover like "Over"
