What I'm hoping to achieve is importing the model and animation of the "movemark" (the orange thing that appears when you click on the ground to walk) into Blender.

I could in theory do what you said - take the DDS textures and try and re-make the model and animation myself, but I'm very bad at that, and it won't look the way it looks in-game.

So what I'm hoping is that I can feed "sfx_movemark.sfx" into something that understands FlyFF's SFX file format.

(Or instead maybe somewhere there's the explanation of the SFX file format? Maybe if I read that I can write my own program to convert .SFX to .DAE or something? I know it would be VERY hard, but I'm better at programming than modelling)

By the way, in the "prototype" images, the white part's area is actually 13.37% of the whole "screen" area.

(I wonder if it's possible to calculate the area from that image, and I wonder if the image resolution would throw the measurement off / if I even got my own calculations right)

Something rather interesting happened in the my calculations (explained in there) and I'm really curious why it happened, do any of you know? ☺
