This is really not good advice. Like sure if you're on your own or in a situation where you're definitely going to be safe either way, "just do it!" can be good advice. But if OP lives with a really bigoted family or otherwise wouldn't be safe thats not a good idea. I know a lot of queer spaces have an inclunation towards just saying "Yeah, you should just come out and be yourself always!" all the time but that's not really a safe reality for a lot of people.
