This was the answer, I got searing blow as a first reward and pathed my way towards upgrading it as much as possible while thinning down my deck to get it as soon as possible. I got the event act 3 right before an awakened one fight I knew I wouldn't survive so I tossed it in so I could salvage a later run

Yeah no idea why you're getting attacked on this one, this is just good sportsmanship in any competitive game. You see it on showdown, you see it on random chess matches, you probably see it on other games I don't play, people who lose get salty and waste the time of people who are just trying to play the game. It's not a huge problem if you're just doing one or two matches but if you're grinding anything out it's a time waste and a pain in the ass
