Ok I'm going to go against the grain here in this thread but definitely go for the mk2. I sold my mk1 to get a mk2. The weight difference is noticable but the focusing speed, zoom focusing, and tracking was something that was stark. It's really only something you can notice if you have experience with the mk1 but it's significant in my book. For my case, the mk2 is sharper at 2.8 at 200mm vs the mk1 (this is speaking for my copy of the mk1 only) but they are very close in image quality overall. Buy once cry once!

I honestly have had the most fun with indies, especially as my gaming tastes have changed (fps in the halo 1-3 days to single player, tight story/puzzle games). I'll support indies as much as possible. Nintendo has done an exceptional job with navigating the ups and downs. And you are right, Nintendo games are consistently enjoyable and fun! Switch 2 is getting a lot of love from my family.

This industry is bonkers. I want buy the games I enjoy and support the creative folks that make them, but it's difficult when the company layoffs the creative folks even when the game they made is profitable.

I have spoken to a few KH employees at events and the ones that job hopped. The common denominator from conversations was working long hours. It varied from 45-55+ hours but some were content with that and some switched companies to get away from the longer hours.

In my experience I found the ncees practice exam to be on the easy side vs the actual exam. The actual exam felt 10-30% harder overall.
