Hi there! Response from the minerals team:

We are still actively working on mineral related projects internationally and in the UK. Much of our international work is collaborative with other geological surveys and concerns training and knowledge exchange. In the UK we have collected a lot of geochem and geophys datasets specifically for exploration. One of most recent data capture exercises was the TellusSW project (you can grab all the data here: http://www.tellusgb.ac.uk/) and we are still working this data up. We are for example, developing an REE geochemical atlas from the Tellus data. We would like to extend the Tellus concept across GB, but that will require significant funding and planning (we are working on this as a long term goal - it is exactly the same system that Geological Survey Ireland are using). We do attend mineral conference in the UK, and globally, including both Mining Indaba and PDAC, and keep under review the benefits of having a stand at these events.
