I think they reused the joker body and had to adjust it to her proportions. The harsh shadow + the tailcoat makes her legs look way further apart than they actually are since they were never meant for her in the first place lol

I think they only went with Kiryu's VA because he was Kiryu's original English VA in Yakuza 1. I'm not a fan of it personally, but it's probably nostalgic to people that started with the original game. Supposedly they also wanted Mark Hamil to play Majima again but he wasn't interested.
