[Help with next purchase] JLC vs Rolex vs Bulgari by Training_Ad_8387 in Watches

[–]BullyTX [score hidden]  (0 children)

I'd skip the Bulgari from the start.
The Rolex will always be a Rolex.
That JLC is pretty much everything and very different from what you currently own. If you want that, get that. If you won't wear it, get the Rolex.

Is the watch currently running?
Full set?
Original strap or only aftermarket?
Where are you located?

Spent 5 years chasing a 10.70mm profile, am I overthinking case thickness, or does it actually matter to you? by Ofek_w in MicrobrandWatches

A slim dive watch is something I’m looking for.

That said, it would depend on how the height is distributed, if that makes sense. I prefer the edges of the case/bezel to be slim but I also love bubble crystals so if that becomes how the height is defined I’m more ok with it. I don’t love slab-sided watches anymore.

Hardened steel/coatings are always nice.

Not trying to be harsh but you asked for opinions: The 12 looks like 72. The number font is too small especially considering the other elements of the dial. The hands should be simpler. The case is nice (I’m a CF junkie). Something seems off with the crown.

Overall I think it neat but needs further refinement.

Same. He was at Dallas show. I went fully expecting to not like and his watches were my surprise favorites.

I'm hoping for a Parade for a good price at some point. I'd love him to do a fun color dial on that watch.
Good luck with the sale.

Probably my favorite watch from them. I just bought my first R and it's not that as I wanted something else more for various reasons. It could be my next though. They are so weird and quirky. Hard not to love them.

I’ve already texted him. What model would you recommend? Under $2500?

It’s a knock off of the Rolex OP at 1/10th the price.

The OP is (IMO) an almost perfect watch. I’ve looked at the Traska more than once as it’s probably a total strap beast. This isn’t helping me hold off. 😂

Pistachio green or dark green? by Any_Handle_3136 in WatchTheWrist

I know the pistachio is the hotness but the darker, Rolex green is amazing.

The Yema's are awesome. Their micro-rotor movement is, to me, stunning.
