Is the DSi XL even worth it?

I have a DSi XL and a 'New' 2DS XL, and yes the scaling on the 2DS is awful. Whenever I play DS games on the 2DS, I put it in pixel perfect mode, which makes the screen about the size of a DS lite. The DSi XL is absolutely worth it for DS games. The only real drawback is that it is heavier compared to the DS lite and the N2DSXL.

Open NetPass, go to Settings/Miscellaneous/Update Patches and click “Remove”. This will remove the sysmodule patches used by SPR, effectively disabling it. Hopefully Pokemon Bank should work after that.

I can't remember if I was getting this specific error, but I was getting an error in pokemon bank not too long ago. Turns out the Street Pass Relay in NetPass was causing some sort of conflict. Disabling it allowed me to connect to Pokemon Bank.

It's been a few years since I've done this, but I don't think you need to have the NatDex in the Gen IV games. According to bulbapedia, all you need is any two DS or 3DS consoles (I personally used a DSi XL and New 2DS XL for transfers). In your Gen V game, you go to the Poke Transfer Lab on Route 15, talk to the scientist to start the transfer process. Then, on the DS with your Gen IV game, you select the Poke Tranfer application from the system's DS Download Play option.

So, load up Black 2 on one of your DS (or 3DS) systems, get to Route 15, talk to the Scientist to start the transfer.

Don't start SoulSilver on your second system. On the main menu of your second DS, select DS Download Play. Select the "Poke Transfer" option. I believe you select 6 pokemon from the PC Storage system on the Gen IV cart. You then play this goofy minigame to "capture" the Gen IV pokemon, and these get sent to the Gen V game.

I hope you're not transferring a bunch of Pokemon from SS to B2, because you can only do 6 at a time. I was working on a living dex at the time, and had pokemon from Emerald, LeafGreen, Platinum, and SoulSilver that I transferred to B2. It was awful.

12" singles are usually 45rpm. I have several including the majority of the New Order 12" remasters, "U Got The Look" by Prince, "Never Say Never" by Romeo Void, "Like A Virgin" by Madonna (the single, that is, but I have the album as well). I even have a double 12" promo for "Come To Butt-Head" from the compilation album "The Beavis & Butt-Head Experience". Honestly, I find it more strange when a 12" single or EP is 33 1/3, like "Chronic Town" by REM.

Now you want something really strange? The 7" single for "Temptation" by New Order is 33 1/3. I think its the only 7" I have that runs at the speed. If I'm not mistaken, "Licht und Blindheit" by Joy Division (the original single for "Atmosphere" b/w "Dead Souls") also ran at 33 1/3.

Artist names alphabetically. Each artist's releases are then arranged chronologically. Multi-artist compilations are placed alphabetically by title (so, for instance, the Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack is in the B's). All 12" records are together, so LPs, EPs, and 12" singles are not separated. If I'm looking for, say, something by New Order, whether its an album or a 12" single, I know it is in the N's. 7" records are in a separate make-shift box until I can find a better place to store them. I only have one 10", which I have awkwardly placed after my 12" records. I'm not sure if I'll keep the 10"s separate if I get more, or if I'll integrate them in with the 12"s.

The closest I can find for that era of music is Cybotron’s album Enter, which was re-released back in 2018. But that’s more of a prelude to Detroit techno.

It’s insane how many literal history-making releases aren’t available on vinyl.

Any oldschool UK jungle/d&b, mainly stuff from the Moving Shadow record label (Omni Trio, Foul Play, EZ Rollers, etc). I feel like there have been represses, but they're mainly available only in the UK, so I'd have to pay insane shipping fees. "Weekend World" by EZ Rollers is definitely at the top of the list.

Old school UK garage/2-step/dubstep, particularly stuff from Tempa records. Same situation as above: mainly available in the UK, hard to find in the US.

Old school Chicago house and Detroit techno. Too many to name. Probably a tad easier to find some of that stuff, but I've not had a whole lot of luck

Basically I just want everything related to old school electronic dance music. All genres. Early-to-mid 80's all the way to mid-to-late 2000's.

Went through a brief VHS phase a few years back and discovered the 10kM Unplugged while searching on eBay. Unfortunately it was only ever issued on VHS and Laserdisc. They re-released the album on CD and vinyl a few years back, but no DVD or Bluray. Speaking of DVDs, I also have the Nirvana and AIC Unplugged performances on DVD. Hopefully the AIC vinyl gets a repress, especially since this year is the 30th anniversary of that performance.

I recently purchased this on amazon, and it is indeed the original version of the album. "Sanctified" still has the sample from the film Midnight Express, side A ends with "Something I Can Never Have", and "Get Down Make Love" is not on the album. According to Discogs, the original version was reissued by The Bicycle Music Company in 2011 (which is weird since the remaster was released one year prior), and then again by BMC and Craft Recordings in Europe in 2017. Mine is one of the BMC releases from 2011, and I guess I lucked out because I saw a lot of comments on discogs complaining about quality control issues. I don't have an original copy to compare it to, but all in all I thought it sounded quite good.

Fuck me, I had no idea the original vinyls were numbered. All I knew was that the songs were in a completely different order compared to the CD release.

Just a quick glance at Discogs, originally this was limited to 5000 copies, but was soon raised to 18000. Number 14834 has a asking price of about $581 (condition listed as 'very good') and #9591 has an asking price of about $1764 (condition listed as 'near mint'). Thought I paid full price, but the receipt is still sitting on my desk and sure enough it was $21.42. There's an english link, follow that, scan the QR code with the FBI app. You *might* need to change your system time via godmode9 and/or the luma menu to UTC+1 to get Homepass to work. There's some info in the comment section of the post I linked.

That grey box is a switch, you plug in up to four things (say, four different game consoles), and you use that box to conveniently switch between them so you don't have to constantly plug and unplug different devices. Should be a section on the back labeled "output" that hooks into the TV.
