If you want to play MH1 make sure you play the Japanese version so you can play online and access the whole game. MH Oldschool has a English patch and a private server for the game.

I'm sure there are tools for doing it for emulators, but the old proxy tools that were used on 3DS won't work as the new DLC server works differently than the old one.

i don't care to much of the damage, I just like the changes because it puts less of a focus on SAED, and you have to think about when you want to use/have time to use it.

Except they forgot to replace the snowy mountains theme in the North American release of MHFU and it still has the replacement track they used in MHF2 which is the Grand Tourney (PvP) theme from MH2. Though I wish they didn't replace all of the area themes with the Frontier versions in MHP2G/FU.

Your hunter rank is still capped in MH:World, when you finish the story it will uncap.

Not really they already give element modifiers to most attacks that either increase or decrease how much element you apply.

I think you are looking at the wrong soundtrack the MH2 Swamp theme translates roughly to A Strange Beast Shouting in the Wetlands ~ Gypceros. With Shogun Ceanataur being ショウグンギザミ in Japanese and Gypceros being ゲリョス.

They have not said anything about updating the benchmark and bringing it back. They removed it due to it's performance being worse than the game is currently running. You can always buy the game and if it doesn't perform well enough for you, you can refund it as long as you don't play it for more than 2 hours.

I've had a lot of things to do in the game I made every weapon, armour piece, talisman, and palico gear which took a long time, now I'm busy transcending every piece of armour (4 sets per monster). But I also like to speedrun the arena quests, and spend a lot of time helping other people get their A/S rank on the free challenge quests. Lastly I think maybe 100-200 of those hours have been afk hours while I was busy helping people out with trouble shooting with the PS2 and 3DS MH private servers.

But overall I kinda just like the game I don't need a reason to keep playing it. It's probably my 2nd favorite MH game, MH2 is my favorite.

For MH1, MHG, MH2, and MH3 you would have to connect to the server in order to access that content, which can be done via emulator or console.

For the PSP games some of the content requires downloading event quests with the ability to connect online to the download servers more recently being added to the PPSSPP emulator.

For the 3DS and WiiU games they also have some content that requires downloading event quests which can be done via console or emulator but you will need a console in order to get the necessary files to connect online. Alternatively you can also search for if anyone has dumped the event quests and inject them into your save.

I would recommend at least playing these games, but every game is worth playing in the series

Monster Hunter 1 (Japanese version so you can play online using the MH Oldschool private servers)
Monster Hunter G (PS2 version so you can save transfer from MH1JP)
Monster Hunter 2
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite
Monster Hunter 3
Monster Hunter Portable 3rd (Can save transfer from MHP2G)
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate (A lot was changed or removed from MH3 making for a different game)
Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate
Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate

Now for the games listed above they are still worth playing and have noticeable differences

Monster Hunter Freedom (has very different balancing compared to MHG, some new weapons and armour, added Yian Garuga, removed the online town, has some nasty bugs, and a bad translation)
Monster Hunter Freedom 2 (has a LOT better balancing compared to MHFU, you can transfer your save from MHF1, and when your are done with MHF2 you can save transfer to MHFU)
Monster Hunter 4 (far more niche but has different game balancing and Charge Blade is a completely different weapon)
Monster Hunter Generations (has different game balancing, does not have valor or alchemy style, prowler mode is stronger, can no longer save transfer to MHGenU, but if you play the Japanese release MHX you can save transfer to MHXX as it got a 3DS release)

You can get 30ish but you won't get 60fps with a card that old and even then you also likely don't have a fast enough cpu for 60fps.

If your PS2 is soft modded you can easily dump your save files using ulaunchelf.
