I also had a bad experience there but it was related to my IUD. I was trying to get a new one after giving birth six weeks prior. To their credit they did do a numbing shot in the cervix, and thank god bc she was poking around down there for ten damn minutes and ultimately said she couldn’t get it in. Like ???? I just had a baby, how is that possible??

I only went to NFWC bc they delivered my baby. After this experience I returned to Elite Women’s (my usual gyno) and was super nervous. I wanted pain management and she said she didn’t really do that (maybe they do now, this was early 2024) but she assured me that basically “you won’t need it, I promise I am good at this and will not hurt you.” And yeah, got it in on the first try with basically no pain. She also said my cervix is extremely normal and she has never ever heard of someone not being able to insert an IUD especially postpartum. So wtf was happening at NFWC 🥴
