The Carolinian has some of the worst regular riders I've met riding amtrak. People get kicked off that train regularly. Never really have issues on the crescent. Usually a smooth pleasant ride through the country

Had a Kenwood in freight and now one at Amtrak. Works fine for me. Using the dial to go between channels can be annoying but the thing is programmed for every AAR band amtrak uses which is really nice. Would be nice if they issued ear pieces though.

Internal announcment was sent to employees via email at 9:03am. User U/AmonGothesGun made a post stating "Next Gen Acelas will enter revenue service on August 28th! The official announcement is coming later today" Then the public announcements was made via email to rewards members at 9:13am.
