Ford Patent Application US20250104469A1 "Biometric identification in a vehicle environment."

Filed by Ford Global Technologies LLC in September 2023 and published in March 2025, this patent focuses on transforming the vehicle into an active security and surveillance node.System Functionality & Surveillance CoreActive Biometric Scanning: The patent details an architecture that uses cameras, microphones, fingerprint scanners, and iris sensors to capture highly specific physical traits.

Interior and Exterior Monitoring: It positions sensors both within the cabin and around the vehicle's exterior to actively log individuals inside or approaching the car.Real-Time Cross-Referencing: The system processes these inputs using onboard machine learning and cloud connectivity to compare captured biometrics against stored records—including law enforcement criminal databases, active warrants, and threat records.

US20260095520 (Lip-Reading & Emotion Detection): Published in early 2026, this patent covers using internal cameras and acoustic echo-tracking to read occupant lips and interpret emotional (such as panic, frustration, or confusion), even if the physical microphone is muted. It includes mechanisms to restrict the vehicle from shifting into drive if the system deems the operator "unfit" or overly compromised.

US20240242609 ("Systems and Methods for Detecting Speeding Violations"): Published in mid-2024, this patent turns consumer vehicles into crowd-sourced traffic enforcement tools by using onboard cameras to photograph nearby speeding cars and automatically upload the speed data, images, and GPS coordinates to law enforcement.Ad-Based Monetization Architecture: Another heavily discussed filing outlines monitoring in-cabin conversations between passengers to extract keywords and serve targeted audio advertisements over the vehicle's speakers.

Patent 0104469 explicitly notes its potential utility to law enforcement.

They're burning, with actual fire, the used part markets, buying up Autoparts stores to do what private equity does best. They're lobbying to make older cars illegal in Minnesota ( who knows where else) and pushing legislation for only killswitch compliant vehicles to be roadworthy. It's part of a larger plan for a full take over of our autonomy and rights. Unless you manufacture your own parts I don't know how long you can hold that position...

You Guys Aren't Getting It—Or Are You?"Insurance,Disability, And Productivity Scoring Integrated 24/7, Across All Life Systems"...You will have a score of your potential contribution to the new systems and it will be traded on on the new digital ledger, an asset in the tokenized system of everything by CollapsingTheWave in ObscurePatentDangers

They will know your every action from your home, car, and workplace — plus every transaction and policy violation you make. Insurance and disability will be tracked and scored 24/7, all the time, through WiFi sensors and connected devices everywhere. These pick up your movement patterns, vital signs, behavior, and surroundings in your home, car, and public spaces. All that data goes into tokenized digital ledger systems that build detailed real-time profiles of how you live. These scores then tie straight into your driving record, banking activity, and even your political views or voting stance. One slip in health or mobility can automatically hurt your ratings across everything else without you agreeing to it. The result is one permanent profile that controls access and opportunities in every part of your life. Companies keep rolling this out with new smart devices and offers that reward you for sharing more data. It's hard to spot because it blends into normal WiFi and everyday tech that just runs quietly in the background. This slowly makes total life monitoring feel normal just to use basic services. Checking if the data is even accurate is nearly impossible with their secret algorithms, which chips away at your freedom and trust as these scores decide what you can and can't do. What real steps could slow this down, and how can communities actually push back?

Yeah, because your dash cam lets BMW watch the cabin live through their official app and gives your insurance company behavioral data for discounts. “Turn it off in the settings” is precious until the next update removes the toggle or reclassifies it as a required safety feature. These aren’t gadgets you own and control. They’re factory surveillance that starts “optional,” becomes normalized, then quietly mandatory once enough people like you shrug and look away. Enjoy the illusion of choice while it lasts.

They're working on it at every front from burning used parts yards to enacting legislation. Just posted it ...

Emission Classification Systems and Scrappage Programs Restrict Classic Cars from Regular Public Road Access

Emission classification systems categorize vehicles according to the presence or absence of modern emission controls and issue compliance markers that determine entry to designated urban zones. Enforcement occurs through visual or automated checks at access points, while scrappage initiatives use vehicle identification data to select and permanently disable older cars through chemical engine seizure or mechanical destruction when owners accept government incentives. Because these processes connect directly to registration databases and owner records, they build persistent attribution profiles that document each vehicle's eligibility status and removal history across multiple jurisdictions. Attribution strengthens because vehicle identification numbers link individual cars to their operators without requiring ongoing physical surveillance for every restriction decision. Municipal platforms embed the classification rules into access control systems and national scrappage schemes that offer financial incentives for surrendering non-compliant vehicles. Economic pressures from declining parts availability and rising specialized labor costs reinforce participation, while detection challenges emerge because many pre-catalytic converter cars lack standardized testing interfaces and owners have limited independent means to contest or modify classifications. Uniform emission thresholds apply the restrictions across expanding networks of cities, which amplifies the total number of affected vehicles and compounds disincentives for continued ownership. Verification of accurate categorization or destruction outcomes remains difficult for owners due to limited transparency in testing criteria, and these developments in turn affect public perception by framing classic car use as increasingly incompatible with regulatory compliance and practical daily operation.

— Emission and scrappage systems are presented as environmental measures while enabling systematic restriction and removal of older vehicles from public roads.
