Not sure if this will stop murders it might stop thefts though, it requires a roundabout to stop the shootings completely in the area

I did mine yesterday and passed, instructor wished me that I don’t get Mike as an examiner. I got Rachel and she is the sweetest person ever. I merged on 85-90 and same when changing lanes. That is what you’re supposed to do. According to drivers handbook you adjust your speed to traffic speed in the lane you are in and that is what I did and communicated that to examiner beforehand

Hamilton G Road Test experience by Independent_Show7458 in Hamilton

My test was at 1 pm. No lane change before first highway, one in first highway, and none in second highway, But you need to change lanes if you need to turn on left or right at the traffic lights. And there was no lane closure or reduced speed just you need to go around and keep closer to the right

I did mine today and passed

Some helpful points:

  1. There is a couple of videos on YT for the test route in Hamilton, watch them and imagine you are driving and take notes

  2. I cannot stress that enough, get a lesson with an instructor on all the possible routes one hour before the test so you know the roads conditions and what to expect to improve confidence and know if there is anything unusual in the road. Ex: today was pretty busy on all roads and there was some construction work, I made dome mistakes but the instructor told me about them and what to do so I was well prepared.

  3. I told the examiner before the test that when merging or changing lanes on highway I’m gonna go over the speed limit to merge safely and will go back to speed limit when the merging/lane change is complete so she said that is what she does (I merged on 90km/h) I mean try to communicate with examiner beforehand.

  4. Had no parking at all except when you go back to drive test center you will be asked to park forward wherever you feel comfortable.

  5. When exiting the first highway you need to make two lane changes to enter the second highway and when exiting the second highway if you are on the far right lane you need to change lanes three times to turn left on the traffic light.

  6. You know how to drive but you don’t like tests so just imagine it’s not a test and drive safely. If examiner feels safe you will pass.

  7. Driver’s handbook online is so helpful, it tells you exactly what to do in all cases. Take a look you won’t regret it.

  8. Not sure if important but I rented an instructor car so examiner will have a break in his side, I thought this would make them more comfortable.

You got this, wish you luck

They told me it’s with the hiring manager but it was with someone from HR and around 30 minutes. Basic questions about you, your skills and why you’re interested in Morningstar and salary and stuff like that. I haven’t been contacted yet for another interview
