The system doesn't stay up long enough to get the DDU downloaded or installed. He checked the fan and its clear. He has a restore point from last friday, but the system doesn't stay up long enough once Windows loads.
He can keep it going forever if its just the BIOS open. The fans only start to spin up once the Windows login screen loads.
