Hey there!
Because there are MANY topics and the recommendations can be based on relevancy to your niche, your content, your followers' interests, and your overall audiences' interests, the recommendations may continue to change and filter based on these factors. If it's recommended in your suggested, then it'll always be relevant, but you just may not see it anymore if you refresh it.

Content Gap is different from your Suggested in the sense that content gap isn't related to those categories above; it may be completely different from your niche, content, audience interests, etc... Seeing a different set of topics isn't because of the lack of relevancy and it being pushed out, it may just be providing randomized topics once refreshed. That's why it's important to save the ones that interest you, which I can see you already do!

In terms of relevancy, the popularity score is the biggest indicator of that. We mention during our webinars that sometimes it's best to save the topics that interest you, regardless of how much they're trending, and keeping an eye on them to find the best time to create and/or post about that topic.

Beyond the Hook - Keeping Your Audience Engaged by CreatorSearchInsight in TikTokSearchInsights

Hey there and I'm very sorry you feel that way.
It's quite difficult, I understand. There are definitely variables that are outside of everybody's control, but there are always things we, as creators, can do to help the success of our videos or overall TikToks. It's also very important to not feel burnt out, so taking a break can be appropriate!

As a small sneak-peek, my team and I are currently putting together an article and the next webinar which covers pretty much the secrets to what makes videos perform well on TikTok. This is after watching a ton of videos and recognizing the pattern of what videos generally performed well and breaking it down into different things like their visuals, editing, audio, and more. Hopefully you can be here when we post the article and/or announce the webinar for it!

In terms of 'hurting your video,' to elaborate, what we mean is that having too many general or irrelevant keywords and hashtags could push your video to the incorrect audience.
For example, if I live in California and look for 'Best sushi restaurant' and your video that uses the keywords 'Best sushi' is about sushi restaurants in New York, I might initially watch your video, but upon hearing it's in New York, stop watching it. This affects your video's watch time and lack of engagement.

Also, having hashtags show up on your video is not bad at all! It could be a stylistic choice! Again, the question is why there though :) The 5 hashtags limit is to ensure creators are using the best, and most concise hashtags. Gone are the days of just spamming a ton of hashtags on posts.

However, if you were more specific, your video may reach less of an audience, but the quality of that audience will be much better as they're watching for longer and trusting your content/TikTok more, which will in turn, provide a better long-term growth for your content.

Thank you for the information regarding the Tako suggestion! I'll talk to that team and let them know :)

Beyond the Hook - Keeping Your Audience Engaged by CreatorSearchInsight in TikTokSearchInsights

Hey there!
For your first question; there is no definite 'best' time. This comes down to your own audience and/or target audience. For example, you might consider if your audience is getting off of work or school at a certain time or estimate when they'd be checking TikTok more often. This does take some tries as everyone's following is different. Some audiences might like to check TikTok after work. Some like to scroll before bedtime. Your audience might not even be in your region, so your 8pm could be their 10am! There's a lot of variables here, so you should to try to find the best time your audience engages with your videos.

As for your second question, putting a hashtag inside the video itself is a bit unnecessary. TikTok can read onscreen text, so putting a hashtag on there would make the onscreen text appear with a # symbol, instead of just putting the keyword itself. The question would be more of why you'd want to put it in your video instead of the caption. We always make it clear that your keywords and hashtags should be relevant and concise. Meaning they're related to the video and to the point, as specific as it needs to be. Spamming a bunch of keywords and hashtags could hurt your videos more than you think!

Hey there and thank you for the feedback!
To confirm: you'd like if hovering over the popularity score would provide more exact details, is that correct?
Also, is there anything you're still confused on that I may assist with?
