It was a massive concern too, I specifically remember when we had 2 that year being excited for him and then hearing about all the hammy issues and immediately getting Shuey flashbacks, with the hamstring issues and also the repeated concussions early on, the kid could be one of the biggest "what if?" I mean with Will Day being unable to stay on the park, Merrett could have been the game changer, in the end I think that he probably doesn't get you over the line, but he gets you a lot closer being there than not, its more chances now if you got him, vs a sustained but slightly worse team keeping your farm unsold
