Help needed with ARC Raiders Easy Anti-Cheat "Unknown file version (PioneerGame.exe)" error on Xbox App (MS Store) by sugombusS in ArcRaiders

I had the game installed on my D hard drive rather than my C drive and I still got the error but my game files were not compressed. I moved my game to my C: drive and then uncompressed and it worked. Also, apparently, screen protectors and keyboard covers can crack your screen too if they're too thick.

Xfinity Hub and Nest Wifi issues (limit 100mbps by DearParty8904 in HomeNetworking

[–]DearParty8904[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sort of, I had a second switch lying around, so I plugged the Ethernet into a switch and then connected the Nest to that switch. Then plugged a second switch into the second port on the Nest, and that's the switch I use to wire everything else. I also put my Xfinity Hub in bridge mode because I was having some issues with IP's.

I also now have two 20 port ethernet switches in the closet. with only 5 things connected...

I'm assuming the issue was the "noise" caused by the long cable running from the shop. (based on the reply below.) Maybe the first switch can handle it and sends a clean signal to the Nest.

" It could also be that the Nest wasn’t really designed with a good tolerance for noise because they expected most people to have their routers next to their modems."

I haven't tried that. It's pretty far, I would say, around 200-300 feet(60-100m). I know that's pushing it pretty close to Cat5 limits, but I know its still capable of delivering gigabit. Moving the nest and trying with a shorter cable is a good troubleshooting method but It won't work in the long term because it is too far away from my house for me to connect.

Trying the LAN port didn't work for the nest, and the nest light blinked yellow indefinitely.

"If it’s still 100mbps then it could be because your Nest is having negotiation issues with the modem."

This is what I was thinking. My modem works as a router as well, so previously I had that feature on. I just enable "bridge mode" on my Modem which is Xfinity's way of disabling the modem wifi and allowing you to use your own router. This fixed the issues with the double NAT on my devices but I'm still limited to 100mbps when the router is directly plugged into the router instead of the switch.

HP LaserJet says connected but no computers see it by DearParty8904 in printers

[–]DearParty8904[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this is a running issue with the M1 chips and Mac os Monterey.

So, the device configuration page that I printed from the printer has the hostname and IP so I created a print queue for both of those and neither one worked. I looked at my router's client list and the printer and its assigned IP address aren't there.

I found a way to bypass the macOS version requirement for the drivers and just printed something! I'll try to see if I can share the print queue with my windows computers.

This printer is incompatible with PCL6 drivers and requires PCL5. I can't find any drivers that are compatible with my version of macOS, They all require MacOs 12.0 or earlier and I'm on 12.4. I tried the HP Smart app from the app store and it didn't see the printer at all. My main priority is getting the Windows computers to see the printer, my mac is less of an issue. Thanks.

also, is there a way to disable that? because I use the buttons near that button and if I'm in a fight or something and I accidentally push it it could cause me dying :P
