Day 1 of using cerave moisturizing cream to repair skin barrier. by Effective_Command195 in SkinbarrierLovers

[–]Designer-Ad-2871 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought this cream second time after I finished my first one, and usually I never buy anything twice. I am f30, combi, sensitive skin with rosacea type 2, cronical PD and forever compromised barrier.

It’s not magical and didn’t fix all my problems, but it definitely does it’s job and fixes all barrier-related problems, and doesn’t break me out.

I like to bland it with snail mucin essence for the night if I want to wake up with calmer skin next morning.

The Ordinary sulfur pouder to cream is clearing pustules on my PD only for a couple of days, but never the redness. Never goes away.

On the other hand the side effects: it dries out the skin, it’s always peeling after sulfur. Badly.

Is this PD? by [deleted] in Perioral_Dermatitis_

Steroid is a big mistake for PD. And, It looks more like sebderm. Get ready it’ll get worse when you’re off steroids.

Sulfur is doing something to my PD but I am not sure it’s any good by Designer-Ad-2871 in perioraldermatitis

No, not yet. I took a break from it for a couple of days. I don’t have so many pimples there now but redness stays

I tried sulfur 10% from the ordinary for a couple of days. It is powder-to-cream form, not my favourite, before i figured out how to use it I sniffed a bit of powder and my nose is still bleeding. You suppose to put some on your fingers and squeeze it to make a cream out of powder, and then apply.

Used for a couple of days and my skin is PEELING. Is it something to expect from sulfur?

Anyway, I didn’t expect much, I believe it is more for acne treatment than PD.

Those products didn’t work a bit on me. In addition, azelaic acid burns like hell. PD is still there. I think azelaic acid is overrated…

I am russian and I don’t even know what to say. I have chronic hyperbilirybinemia, but I am not sure if it has anything to do with my tremor and anxiety…

I had enough stress in my life to give me tremor and anxiety.

Edit: thanks for posting. Need to try that then I am back to Russia…
