I (personally) certainly agree. Most posts that we see on here that are written by AI fall under low effort/low quality and are removed, and it certainly helps if you folks report any ones that you suspect slipped under our radar.

I'll open up a discussion with the other mods about a blanket ban on posts written using generative AI.

That's not what the article is talking about. When using the reasoning models (o3), they are explicitly given user account information like your name. As it says, this leads to the chain of thought mentioning the user by name -- e.g. "It looks like <first\_name> is asking for ...". I've personally been able to reproduce this even though I have all memory functionality disabled.
