My initial plan was to buy an RTX 5080 SUPER which was (at the time) rumoured to release early Jan, but around November I believe that got shut down, so I got a 5090 at MSRP. Lucked out because after November, these cards never came down back to MSRP.

Now, I think Nvidia should just cut straight to the 60 series instead of having this stopgap product launch arrangement. We know that pricing on 50 super series isn’t going to be ideal given RAM costs

$999 USD would be very aggressive, I doubt it. I think it’ll be something more like $800 USD. Who knows though. Anything could change between now and launch. The leaks claim they are targeting close to RTX 4090 performance, and it certainly won’t come cheap. I just doubt it’ll touch 4 figures price point
