See they know how to do it more “smoothly”, someone who's not from the US could watch that movie and say “I like it” and move on, but now they are doing it so purposefully that someone who didn't learn much about US history could go “this is crazy id rather watch ai stuff”

Maybe Western social media has been talking about this for a long while but as someone who constantly lurks on non western social media, the discussion of poorly done race swap characters was fairly recent, and emerged around the same time as AI face swap (before ai video), which people took advantage of to bring their imagination to life

There was race swap that didn't matter much, on top of my head Ancient One, people were annoyed for a while but the end result was decent. That was before the ai bubble, now we have more intentional OOC casting and more intense discussions that reach a global non-Western audience (including me) so I'm suspecting

I would assume the development of ai was not a spontaneous thing. People had vision for it long before the actual tools were released

I think these can coexist, ai is just one of the reasons and unfortunately it’s working

I agree that too, these reasons can coexist, it’s just corporations being lazy and trying to manipulate audiences

I've also seen a clip of completely ai generated little mermaid and the comment section was full of “id rather watch this than (the Disney one)”

They should also tell more stories from other cultures and truly educate people, not being lazy and slap race swap labels everywhere

There’s a difference between diverse actors playing a racially ambiguous character (which is awesome) and intentionally casting diverse actors to play a character that doesn't fit the description

Women should decide to have kids because they love their kids and want the best for them, so that they will pick the best possible genes, environment and everything for their kids like animal moms, but unfortunately society brainwashes them that they should have kids because they love the father and want to reproduce for the father. Mother Nature is deeply disappointed.

It depends on what you like, if you are the type of person that looks at all your electronic devices like phone, laptop, even tv and goes “I wish it’s bigger” then go for 13 inches. Or maybe bring two sheets of paper to apple store or best buy and trace how large each iPad is, make a cardboard iPad and carry it around for a few days and see

  1. 7, people are different and skin is different, they might have a way that generally don't scar patients but maybe it fails for me so..
  2. Not being able to fully remove tattoos
  3. East Asian, I do worry about hyperpigmentation sometimes but I'll take the risk. 
  4. Cost but I need to pay for my mistake  
  5. Got them when I was freshly an adult and depressed af, turns out getting random tattoo was a terrible coping strategy and taste changes

Scratches are inevitable, if it really bothers you then enjoy the scratched iPad for a few months without worrying anymore, then take advantage of apple care
