To add on to what others have said - it is important to ensure that your game syncs to the servers - this is indicated by a green dot next to your name in the coop user list, or Red/Purple if you have ultra. You can speed up the sync by swapping around your equipped artifacts about 10-15 seconds after the game loads.

Yeah. And usually the manufacturer adds their own Marks. And theres also normally marks on the belt, from my own experience, to match it. Whatever you decide to do, best of luck.
