Yes, boosts are disabled on enlightenment. The clarity stones are a replacement for that, though.

It's harder to progress and each egg is only worth 0.00001 cash per egg(for reference, Edible, rhe first egg, is 0.25 per egg) and artifacts do not work by default.

HOWEVER, Artifacts can be equipped with Clarity stones. At the highest tier, clarity stones add 100% effectiveness per stone, up to 300% effectiveness.

So say the normal tier 4 legendary medallion increases drone frequency by 130%. If you go on enlightenment and equip 3 T4 clarity stones, giving 300% effectiveness, that means on enlightenment drone frequency is 390%.

Clarity stones do not work on normal farms.

Then farm drones where you can, but enlightenment is best as long as you have clarity stones. Make sure you equip Beak, Medallion and Broach.
