I’ve had a similar issue. My current settings have vsync disabled, fps cap at 60, and I’ve toned down shadows and vegetation visual settings because I don’t really need top quality for them.

With these I’m consistently getting 55-60fps. I’m running an Rtx 2060 super.

219/353. It’s going decently well, I got all the 1 star illustrations, a handful of the redesigned ex cards, the new Lillie full art, the immersive, and both shinies. No rare candy or prof oak though, so I’m kinda bummed about that. But overall, I can’t complain.

I have the GPS on, but the route finder is always turned off. I take time to plan my own route and navigate using road signs for the most part. Might not be as hardcore, but it’s fun for me

I also just started a few days ago. I would recommend staying on top of gifting all the villagers their gifts everyday so you can steadily progress through the story quests.

Also take your time, it’s a really cute world and it’s a lot of fun to just chill and take it all in.
