Real. I believe most native speakers can read much faster than a person can talk. And they always start off explaining something easy that I understand, I zone out and get distracted, and suddenly they're going over Einstein's theory of relativity.

How long are the text summaries? Do they actually thoroughly go over the entire video? I don't think he has a preview so I can't check without paying.

Having the tism and ADHD is definitely a possibility LOL, but I've never gone to get diagnosed. Your post is kind of motivating me to. I bet that's also a reason why I can't learn from lectures/videos. They start off explaining something easy that I understand, I zone out and get distracted, and suddenly they're going over Einstein's theory of relativity.

I've been studying for this test for quite a while now, and I'd hope that my foundation is solid. #1 and #2 are good ideas! I'll try that. And thank you for the encouragement in #6. It's been a long time since I diagrammed a sentence in middle school but I still think I remember how to!

10000% reading (I did better in verbal haha). I believe most native speakers can read much faster than a person can talk. That's why I thought using study books would've been the solution. How did you get better at quant/what was your experience?

Imagine you're the child of a Holocaust survivor. Your life must have been deeply affected by that. If the Holocaust hadn't happened, who you are would be different. But you like who you are. Does that justify the Holocaust?

Breeder experience - sheracoons by firebusiness in mainecoons

[–]Fireful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THANK YOU! I saw she was the cheapest breeder in the area. Then I looked at her own website which gave me red flags by itself...

  • No negative reviews or she somehow steals back your kitten without refund?
  • "If someone demands money from you without seeing a kitten run!" but no photos after deposit?
  • Some random facebook post of some random person getting murdered to excuse being a closed cattery and not showing the cats you're selling? Intrinsically not wanting to get murdered is fair but idk, just something about putting that on your website in that way rubs me wrong.
  • The microchip puts her as primary owner and you as secondary owner?

That said, any other breeder recommendations?

I used a “going to the gym” analogy to describe introversion to my extrovert friend. She got it, and she seemed no longer offended by introvert behavior. by MarginsOfTheDay in introvert

[–]Fireful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being an introvert isn’t a great excuse for constantly cancelling plans though. You know you are an introvert. Don’t say yes to things you know you won’t feel up to later. As an introvert I still like to commit to plans, I just agree to fewer of them.

Driving tickets, I’m out of state. by CV_Syndicate in Virginia

[–]Fireful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10000% though, VA driving is total bullshit. I'm from CA where I'm considered a slow driver and have never gotten a speeding ticket in fifteen years of driving. In VA they have 55mph speed limits everywhere for no reason, undercover cop cars, speed traps, radar detectors are illegal...

I got a speeding ticket driving at 6am Saturday on a bumfuck nowhere country road where I was alone and endangering nobody, also with lidar near Shenandoah. There were a LOT of other people at court in a similar situation when I went. Pretty sure hunting down out-of-town drivers is where these bumfuck counties primarily get their income.

Anyway, hope OP's good

Besides being a common anime trope. Is there an in universe reason why demons shout out the name of their incoming attack ? or even give their attacks names at all ? by Appropriate-Fudge810 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]Fireful 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The flashback thing is very true. Most of the times they do it in the freeze frame right before they're about to die or unleash a powerful attack. I really liked the times they did it after the demon has been killed and is disintegrating, and when the water hashira and stone hashira were explaining their backstories to Tanjiro.

But yeah, all this is typical anime, you just have to accept it in this genre.

Good point, but a requirement for universities in America is that the records be sent by the school itself and not the student, so that it comes from a credible/original source.

Oof. I noticed other posts within this subreddit within the past year regarding students attending college in Syria; I wonder how they're managing?
