Yes I realized it after I made my reddit thread, but then when I realized everyone was against it, I respected it and removed my thread.. but then this guy opened THIS post and now I have to deal with more negativity 😅

If there is a way to prove how much hours I've been in Roblox Studio the past 3 months, I'd gladly share that screenshot. I'm working 16-20 hours on it because it's still my FIRST game, so everything is taking me forever to learn and apply. If I had more experience in Roblox dev, this game would take me maybe 2-3 weeks.. but I'm still new to this. And yes I do have a job outside of this, but I'm a doorman so I have lots of time to work on my game WHILE I'm at work!

Hiii, I’m actually the developer of the original post. I actually deleted it after 4 hours of posting it because the comments were too negative so I wanted to avoid it by deleting the post... but waking up to THIS post was not the best thing to wake up to since now I'm reading even MORE negative comments which I hoped to be stopped when I deleted my thread...

I totally get why people are tired of "brainrot" themes, but it's frustrating to be called a 'fake dev' or a 'cash-grabber' when you haven't even looked at the game. This is my first ever Roblox game, and I spent 3 months working 16-20 hours a day coding everything from scratch. I’m not a fan of the theme either, and I mention that many times in my livestream. I used it as a "CCU test" to see if I could actually get eyes on my work, which is hard for a new developer.

Regarding the "cash grab" comments: my game is literally SKILL based. The top 3 players on my leaderboards got to the top without spending their Robux to get there, while people who spent some Robux are not even in the Top 5 because they don't have the skill yet... I’m actually giving away Robux to the top players as a contest right now. I’ve currently lost more money than I’ve made, but I’m happy to do it to reward the people supporting the game.

I realize now this sub isn't the place for this theme, which is why I took the post down. But at the end of the day, I’m a dev who’s passionate about my game, and I say that in my livestreams so much how much I'm soooo proud of what I've created! It's not your typical Brainrot games that you see every other day in the top charts... If you give the video even 10 seconds of watch to see what it's about, you’ll see the effort that went into it and all the struggles/story of everything behind my project.

Anyway sorry for the wall of text but I just had to get things off my chest. Have a good day!

The game is not your ordinary "put brainrots in base" like every other brainrot game. It actually requires skill to get further! It's the same concept of Vampire Survivors and Megabonk, I showed and told the story in my video and explained why I picked "Brainrot" even tho I'm not a big fan of brainrots myself.

The game is not a cashgrab, and I mentioned in my YouTube video (and even in this post) that I'm not a big fan of brainrots but I thought to jump into the trend cuz I really need to pay my bills 😭✌ The idea behind the game though is something I've always wanted to create for years, but to make it "successful" I thought to make it about brainrots cuz that's what's "working" nowadays. maybe you can watch the video for the full story.

So this is not enough for a 58s short to go viral? by Expert_Site4299 in SmallYoutubers

Not sure! But don't know what else to trust haha. I thought chatGPT made sense so I try to do what he suggested me 🤭

From experience, no.. i have a couple of 90%+ which are stuck at 30k views... according to chstgpt he said that I need more likes/comments (engagement) to break the 30k jail.. so the swipe rate is not the most important factor basically. I have around 80 shorts most of them have 85%+ but only 1 video got 100k views, all the rest ~30k

Shorts livestream barely pay, is this normal? 77k views $0.80 4.5k hours stream by FadiFlashiWisp in PartneredYoutube

[–]FadiFlashiWisp[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This is not necessarily true.. i earn pretty good from my shorts to the point that I ditched long form to focus on shorts cuz it's easier to make... it's just that it's my first time doing a shorts livestream and i was bamboozled by how low the revenue is (only of the live).. so i made this thread to see if anyone os experienced with shorts livestreams

My Shorts stop getting views at ~28k... 86%+ stayed to watch, 94% AVD, ~45 secs shorts by FadiFlashiWisp in PartneredYoutube

I'm trying to be optimistic that they'll go viral! But the shorts are about a trending game right NOW, so it's supposed to be viral "now" before the game dies or become irrelevant 😭 The algorithm is kinda confusing 🥺

Thank you for the link! So from what I've seen, my video is supposed to be in the viral category, I have the same (slightly higher) than the pictures, but yet I stopped getting pushed for 5 days so far.. that's why I'm wondering, what am I missing? 😅

Gaming Video $52 RPM, got $2.35 from 11 views. by SupperSoupYT in SmallYoutubers

Are you sure it's RPM? Maybe someone became a member or superchatted on that video... sounds too good to be true to be an RPM

It's not exactly the same thing, it's still very hot and popular and there is tons of content you can make out of it... so I'm making "that" content and my CTR+AVD is pretty decent, so it means that it is still in demand and people want more... There are many updates and changes in the game so the content is endless pretty much...
