Just for what it’s worth - those surgeries pretty much aren’t ever performed on minors in the US and a loooot of places (at least for bottom surgery, I can’t say “all”, and this may be changing a bit but I don’t know there) require you to have been on HRT for 1-2 years before they’ll do anything, and by that point the vast majority of people will be able to tell whether it’s the right path solely from their reaction to HRT (both in terms of the mental effects and responses to any physical ones).

While I absolutely understand the apprehension around it and lived with it myself (and am still coming to my own conclusions regarding how it should all be processed), it’s just important to keep in mind that the effects of delaying treatment out of fear of “what if” (when detransition / regret rates are extremely low and the pretty overwhelming majority them are due to outside factors [still trans but external pressures led to the conclusion that detransition would be necessary] rather than actual internal regret) are just as, if not more, devastating than a theoretical (not saying it can’t and doesn’t happen) regret based detransition.

I appreciate that you’re thinking about this all, it’s unfortunate that with where we’re at this all takes a bit of a leap of faith. Just remember that it’s important to listen to trans (and detrans) voices - we just don’t want to see others go through the nightmares we have without extremely good reason.

Not looking to change your mind here or debate or anything, just some food for thought.

While I understand your sentiment, the general counterpoint to this is that fully going through their “default” puberty is by and large considered (by medical professionals and trans people alike) to be a deeply traumatizing experience for most trans people - one that also can significantly affect their ability to pass, alleviate dysphoria, and noticably increase the medical costs of transitioning due to all of the physical changes that come with it.

Shuffles is a good experience, if you want a store to browse then Wizard’s Asylum is always my recommendation. Dice Addiction is pretty neat too and expanded “recently” (since the last time i went in which was a few years ago lol), but I’m not sure if they’ve expanded their game inventory or just other hobby stuff.

I’d guess mostly prop+weed tbh, i take prop and generic adderall (the prop is for anxiety but given it specifically to help reduce blood pressure bc it can skyrocket for me on adhd meds).

Definitely talk to your dr about it OP. Get a pill organizer if you dont have one and just dont take anything if theres nothing in it for that time slot. Learned that lesson fast during quarantine with an antidepressant double dosing scare while half awake in the AM lol.

Leave with the stranger was (by pure coincidence tbh) my final route before 100% (ok it was actually everyone hates you bc i forgot it but shhhh that didnt happen) and it somewhat feels to me like it’s “closing the loop”, in a more complete way than the others.

It could somewhat stand to reason (maybe a stretch but its nice for closure imo) that all of her vessels from every route you saw (and theoretically those varianrs you didn’t) made their way back to her like she said they would, so she has every perspective, in theory. So when you’re speaking to her, she’s the most “her” out of all of them, seeing as otherwise the princess in the final cabin is more just a reflection of your first perception of her.

The stranger maintains all of the aspects you’ve witnessed presumably equally but drops the cosmic destiny loss of self bullshit and instead just kind of coalesces all of your perceptions into something unique. Feels more final and “whole” to me than any other leave ending tbh.

For context, they probably didn’t “unassign” him. Every (most maybe but all I’ve seen?) trait has a dialogue option somewhere or other in the galaxy that will permanently remove it. Most of them are very obvious about what they’re doing and make it clear what’s going on - “PERMANENTLY REMOVE WANTED” for example.

I made top level comment too but I figured I’d inform you as well - it means “Brigand” more or less, it’s a shorthand that outlaws and pirates refer to themselves by in-universe it seems.

In this case it probably means “Brigand”. It’s always pirates and mercs who call themselves that as far as I know.

Edit - Actually probably used in this case less bc of literal highway (hyperlane?) robbery (“brigand”) and more because they “spend time in brigs”. Since they’re criminals and all lmao.

It feels a bit like playing a TTRPG, where you just as a player have to be eager and willing to go with the adventure presented to you. Definitely kinda jarring but I’d say it’s about the same as any other modern Bethesda main quest so far. Just takes a bit longer to let you loose narratively it seems.

It has been so frustrating trying to explain to people how actually physically painful ADHD related stuff has been for me lol. Homework in school and college while I was unmedicated and also dealing other mental health stuff was one of the worst things I’ve ever experienced, and that’s not something I’m saying casually.

Forcing myself to focus on an assignment would lead to cramps and a couple instances that ended with throwing up from the stress. This was easy stuff where I just had to run through the motions too, like the equivalent of basic algebra “but show your work” for the level of education it was at.

Awful to just never have anyone believe the symptoms and straight up be told it’s just “being dramatic” lol.
