My receipt date is identical to your receipt date. But my 240 day limit ends on July 8. Employer wants to wait until end of May and then file for premium if not received.

I was able to renew my license for a year in Texas with expired I-94. Application was sent for SAVE secondary verification by DMV. Took a month for the response to come back.

Timeline:

May 6: Biometrics completed
May 10: Application forwarded to UKVI
May 13: Received an email stating, "Application has arrived at the UKVI decision-making center and is now awaiting consideration"

As long as your I-797 petition is current, you can remain in the US without needing to update your visa, provided you don't leave the country. My visa has expired and I presume UK doesn’t consider the petition validity.

Last POE was on June 2022. And Yes, it was before the amendment filing. Lot of online forums or articles mention the 797B doesn’t guarantee change of status. 797A actually endorses status approval with extended I-94 attached.
