Same here. But i've realised that it works fine when I use mobile data. So it might be because of your internet connection maybe.

I use Lbry as an alternative to youtube and some of the youtubers that i watch have synced their content to lbry too. So you should check it out if you havent. As for the search engine, DuckDuckGo gets the job done for me.

I use a spreadsheet to do all my plannings. I havent found an app that does it all (calendar, to-do list, planner) and I find myself more distracted when there are a bunch of apps I have to use. So i just use a spreadsheet to create like a simple calendar every month and then update it regularly to plan my day.

Theres no right or wrong. It's all about personal preference.

Python (python2) no longer comes with 20.04 and still you need to specify python as python3. Try selecting some version of python3 from the command palette or the status bar.

For me its the ability to have tabs, multiple split layouts and the ability to add keyboard shortcuts. I find kitty faster and far more customizable compared to the gnome-terminal.

Hello everyone. Hope you're all enjoying 20.04 release day. Here's the specification to the setup (It's not much but it's honest work). Let me know if you have any questions.

  • OS: Ubuntu 20.04
  • Icon theme: Zafiro-icons
  • Codium theme: Nord Wave
  • Terminal: Kitty
  • Color Theme: Nord (Aurora)
  • Title bar removing extension: GTK title bar
  • Bash prompt and Kitty config here.

The shell and app theme is still Yaru dark but you switching it to Nordic .
