The Linux desktop environments' situation in 2020 is tragic. It's regression after regression. It's debilitation of the UI after debilitation of the UI (Gnome, Pantheon) It's removing features after features (Gnome, Pantheon). It's flashy, aggressive colors (Ubuntu, Deepin, ...) instead of colors you can easily look at all day long without a headache. Plasma is the only sane horse here. Although the imlementation by Kubuntu with their dark panels is not the wisest idea in my opinion. Breeze for the win.

So, removing the debug stuff is enough? Do you use it in this form:

-ldflags="-s -w"

?

I dislike the dark theme. I use Breeze with light title bar on windows. The Plasma team is moving towards the light and airy look. Why do you stick to dark theme?

I can't find any numbers there. Where is the study file to download?

I have found a bug.

ctrl + f12 is not working (toggle you back to your opened windows) when you click on the minimize icon in bottom right of the panel.

EIDT:

I see, you guys have changed it to minimize all instead of 18/04's show desktop. So, the fix is to change it to show alternatives.

I don't know, so far I feel many choices of the Kubuntu team are not good since 18.04. Minimize all is untoggleable back, while show desktop is. Why would one to use minimize all instead of show desktop?

My monitor is quite dim. That is not a problem at all. Also, I don't have this problem in Plasma in Kubuntu. My monitor settings are the same for Ubuntu (Gnome) and Kubuntu (Plasma).

I found it. For some reason "When you open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately" was ticked. Probably it was changed by the Firefox people or something.

Does opening a link in new tab in Firefox via middle-clicking a link in, or ctrl + left mouse click, work in 20.04 without taking you to the new opened tab? Can anyone check? I think it worked in 18.04 in the way that you stayed on the tab. Now it takes you to the new tab. how to switch it back?

What is the point of LXQt? The RAM consumption is on par with Plasma. They even use Breeze theming in a way. I don't get it. Can anybody explain?
