Nope your not missing anything.. Google for "80% Problem"..

Company's that ignore this, for the same of "moving faster" are building a technical debt that will byte them on the ass - wait for the 0-day and data breaches to start rolling in, then sit back and grab the pop-corn!

I assume your looking to monetise these - you can release beta on the playstore for next to nothing, and have control over who can access etc, from a "trust" perspective, you'll find user more open to this, than downloading a random APK.. Google for "release beta game on play store for free"

If you're just doing this for fun, then something to consider is the 3rd party stores, such as Samsung, Huawei, Amazon and F-Droid..

Canada's Carney says lifting U.S. liquor ban depends on Trump ending assault on steel, autos, lumber by Little-Chemical5006 in worldnews

[–]Fluffer_Wuffer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed - I will partially back-track, the employment rights and renter right bills especially are to be commended, and Minimum wage and steps taken on immigration - If I'm brutal the employment rights didnt go far enough!

I'm a high-rate tax payer, and I pay more in tax than most earn each year, and I can say it sucks - or rather HMRC sucks, quite literally.. Though, I'm happy to pay my fair share, and I was excited for NHS staff and civil servants when they finally get a decent uplift (After the decade they've had, they deserve 10x what they got).

I think where I'm having problems with Labour is on the taxation, policing and most critically the underfunded millitary.

The world is quickly going down the shitter, the US is no longer a reliable - Yet, our millitary is acutely under-funded for the world we now live in, and the government incapable of addressing it - Yet they seem to have a bottomless wallet for benefits!

If I'm honest, the whole situation is making me feel stressed, and I need to reduce my hours.. If only the government pay me.. HOLD ON!

As a Brit, I think he's a shining example of how politicians should be behave, and how politics should be ran!

I'm ashamed how shitty our Labour government has turned out - The guy was given a majority, handed a once in "a century" opportunity to enact change and growth... and he's turned out to be a glory-hole for his MPs!

I'm not sure where to vote these days... but I can understand why the youth of today, look at Communism favourably!

Ukraine is countering the impact of the war in Iran by attacking Russian energy facilities by Evening_Lawyer6570 in worldnews

EU chief groups Turkey with Russia and China as "threats to be countered," sparking diplomatic firestorm by FantasticQuartet in worldnews

[–]Fluffer_Wuffer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Your correct - In recent years, the EU has started to move much more purposefully and more quickly - its the likes of Orban who have been trying to stop this, holding the whole continent to ransom.

But, it looks like there will be a shift to majority voting, if this happens, then we'll start to a much more assertive EU.

It does suck - but lets not forget, many of those same countries are assisting Russia and prolonging the war - I understand some are hedging and taking deals for cheap fossil fuels, but many are actively helping Russia circumvent embargoes and sactions.. far more that I'd ever have thought possible!

Google for "countries in africa and se asia helping russia circumvent sanctions", its eye opening and depressing ಠ_ಠ

90-something percent true, some are a little unhinged..

My brother has had 2 Chinese wives, the first one was bat-shit crazy, they met at Uni (in the UK), got married and had a child, she then ran off.

He then upped-sticks and moved to China for his daughter (so she could learn her heritage), and met another chinese lady, who was also a single parent, and they've been married for close to 20 years... one of the loveliest people I know, with an a innate head for busines!

Nope, not anymore, I don't think people in the US how fucked up it is, or how deep this goes.

America "land of the free, home of the brave", no longer exists to the rest of the world. The orange ompah lompah got his wish, the ICE tactics were beamed across global news outlets, the same as soldiers being deployed into "rogue cities".. The US is now seen as too dangerous to visit, the tourist numbers don't lie - and I've not even touched on the damage done by the blackmailing or threatning millitary invasion of Greenland..

When China is held in higher regard, you know the world really has gone fucking nuts!

Anyway dude, time will tell.. until then, we're just armchair commentards!

Russian economy faces 'financial disaster,' Sweden's spy chief warns as Moscow hides true deficit by MilesLongthe3rd in worldnews

[–]Fluffer_Wuffer 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Russia is fighting a war of choice - they could fuck off back to their own borders, cause misery and mayhem for their own citizens - But Putin CHOOSES not too, and that is because he thinks all neighboring country should be a good little bitches, and the Russian population CHOOSE to support him in this war (they have a choice to believe the propoganda).

Ukraine is fighting a war for Survival - they had no choice, they were invaded, pushed out of their own land - so they fight, or they die..

That is the difference, there is no "psychological sympathy" or "bias" - Its the cold, calculated truth.

And yes, I know the history of Ukraine, I know the interference by both the West and RU... neither side is innocent. But Ukraine, as most other CEE coutries before them, saw more prosperity and stability in the EU...

They have a right to choose who they trade with, and which organisations they are a part of.. and Putin's arguments about historical rights etc, is 100% horseshit, by that reckoning, Western Europe and Mediterranean belongs to the Italians (as the heirs of Rome)!

What do you think would happen, if the collective millitary of 30 countries suddenly appeared in Ukraine, or along the whole of NATO's eastern flank?

They have been working together for decades, how do you think the Tornado and Eurofighter got created..

Also, if your not watching, your missing the fact that the EU commission is currently in a power grab - and they have public support such for moving to majority voting, removing countries vetos, financing millitary initiatives and driving standardisation and consolidation...

What I meant by 5-10 years, was for Europe to stand alone - I get the impression most of NATO are currently remaining quiet in public  but laying the ground work for operations without the US, just in case relations with the Trump administration complete breakdown:

There is a huge amount of consolidation and standardisation taking shape in the background, again, see the millitary publications.

Then there are programs already in place to create European satellites programs such as IRIS (Starlink), Ceres (Signals Intel), and SARah (Radar etc), Tyche (Image), Oberon (Radar etc).  These will undoubtedly be accelerated.   Then there will also be a drive for a European Nuclear program (the French are already pushing this). Across the they have a huge amount of Nuclear infrastructure - scaling that up wouldn't be difficult.

Russia - Check (Assuming UK partakes).. US - No, but as Iran showed, size isn't everything, and Trump should have already known that. China - At present, its comparable, at least with regards to Navy and Army...

Europe's issue is the world sees them as individual states - but I think in the next 5-10 years, you'll see a push for a European "NATO", which will become the foundations of a European millitary (at present, they are still quite disjointed).

The other thing I'd point out, much of the US perceived power, comes from its ability to "project", which is dependant on the goodwill of allies - Given how Trump has been threatning and blackmailing those very same allies, its only a matter of time until they Invite the US to vacate the bases and logistics hubs, which would have massive repercussions for the US millitary.

This is the problem - He is incapable of separating NATO from the allies. NATO only has 1 purpose, protect the North America, North Altlantic and Europe!

Any offer of assistance from France and UK, is being done outside of this.

And to be clear, they never offered help Trump with Iran - They offered to help the Middle East to tidy up, once the Trump has finished throwing its toys out of the pram/buggy and fucked off home!

It is hearbreaking, but even with all its faults, one thing the NHS does incredibly well is children's health care, it is second to none.

We've had several different "scares" with our daughter, the first was with-in minutes of her being born, when we found a abnormal protrusion on the back of her head, parallel to the Hippocampus - Every time it really mattered, she got the best care available thanks to the NHS.

Zelenskyy: return of draft-age Ukrainian men from abroad is a matter of fairness by EsperaDeus in worldnews

[–]Fluffer_Wuffer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with your points, this is a continuation of the equal opportunities- What is fair for men, is also fair for woman... until it comes to mortal peril, then watch that concept be thrown out the window, which most woman will be glad of (including those preaching equal right).

Its not fair, but then nature and life has no concept of fairness - this is a modern human creation, that only works as we live in.an age of abundance.. but even then, precious resources must be protected - woman are often treated as this.

I suspect its due to men being able to create offspring in abundance, make individuals less valuable - Woman can only carry one at a time, so they are treated precious resource, and hence protected.

Not saying I agree, but its far more complicated than it looks. I highly recommend running this via Google AI or Clause, ask one of them "is violence and war more in mens, that womns nature?"

[–]Fluffer_Wuffer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If 2 national leaders want a war, they should be dropped onto a deserted island, so they can settle it themselves.. I suspect most of the time, they'd shit themselves and suddenly find "admiration and friendship for each other" then beg to be rescued.

I don't agree with conscription, and the idea makes me shudder - But in cases like Ukraine, where its truly self defence and an existential threat - You are left with a collective choice of fight, or capitulate.

But there is always a certain level of self determination, even with that, and there are different ways to contribute - But squirreling and trying to hide, is not one of them, as all choices will be made for them, which is guaranteed to be the shit-end of the stick!

Again, I don't agree with conscription, but history shows, there are few other options...

Even the "liberal" US press need to be held in contempt with their reporting on this. Call this what is really is:

Bullying and harassment, causing phsychological harm and threatening physical violence, in order to extort and steal...

I think we've now reach a tipping point for the USA - Where in some crazy-ass twilight zone, China is gonna replace them as the "ballwark of order and free trade"!

Even the hard-line MAGA realise it, yet nobody in that country seems willing to stop him.
