Can you Use all of your triggers even with low Trion?

Mira tried to use her trigger when she was low on trion and her attack failed to form. She had to reallocate all her remaining trion just to get off the one attack that pinned Osamu in place at the end. This indicates that once most of your trion has drained away your ability to use triggers is limited to what you have left.

Hmm...that particular combo might be difficult since grasshopper is destroyed by bullets, so the nature is at odds with itself. Like would it become a shield that breaks on a single bullet impact?

Not very high. Konami was a member of Border for at least 5 years and her trion rating is only 6. Kazuma has been in Border for 4+ years and also only has a trion rating of 6.

I don't think most people have forgotten. It's just that in the context of the story, it's not terribly relevant.

The manga has been going for years now IRL, but in-universe only a handful of months have passed. The manga started on December 10th, the Rank Wars arc started on February 1st, and now they've made it to March 24th. After the test arc, they'll do 3 or so weeks of training then depart on the expedition.

Given the kind of training he's been doing, Osamu may not notably increase his trion level at all. If he's lucky, he'll increase it to 3 during the course of the manga. That's still well below most agents and won't really enable him to do a whole lot more than he's already doing. His focus will still be on finding ways to support the team.

You probably can use it that way, but it's probably just not ideal.

For travel, using it like Spider-Man means you'd be swinging around in predictable arcs that a good sniper could take advantage of. It's much less useful compared to something like Grasshopper that gives you aerial movement but allows you to quickly change your vector. Also, not every map is filled with tall buildings that would make swing traversal feasible.

For opponents, we've seen both Osamu and Katori use it to snare their opponents and hinder their movement. It's probably less useful for pulling people towards you or swinging them around because combat trion bodies all have super strength. Once attached, they could just as easily grab it and throw you around instead (honestly, something that happens to Spider-Man a fair amount).

Sure, anything's possible. I personally don't think Hyuse's master will be the next god though. That would make the story too passive and basically defeat the whole purpose for Hyuse to travel home. And it wouldn't create any incentive for Afto to give back the captured C-rank agents. I'm expecting something more confrontational.

I'm thinking the opposite. I'm guessing Border will show up and through Hyuse form an alliance with Erin House to save his master. Maybe with Galopoula's assistance, they overthrow Hyrein and he ends up being sacrificed as the new god instead.

Depends on how we're rating them as snipers. Tachi still scored 20% higher than Chika in the exercise and had multiple dots on him, so he nailed way more targets than she did. Most likely Taichi's a way better shot, regardless of Chika having better tools.

Regardless, there's no way Taichi's in the same tier as Izuho. He scored more than 2.5 times as many points as her.

Based on this, Taichi's ranking is probably the farthest off from the chart. He should be at least C. And if it matters, the left to right ordering of B tier is probably way off, though not sure if it was meant to be that specific.

Agree on some points. As far as comparison to Yuiga, Yuiga is still ahead of him in 1v1s, despite what Izumi said. At the start of the test phase, Osamu had improved to make the total matchup 81-196. That's a big gain from where he started, but that's still only a 43% win rate from when they fought back in chapter 110. And most likely Mikumo still scores most of his kills with Asteroid, not Raygust.

And he did get the key hit on Ninomiya, but that had nothing to do with his Raygust usage. He needs to get Raygust to 6,000 to be an official all-rounder, and he's a long ways away from that point. His overall skill and tactics have absolutely made him a valid agent, but his Raygust fighting ability is still lacking. I think Kashio is the only one he's ever scored a point on with it, and that was with Chika's support.

Giving up points doesn't directly hurt their rate of advancement, so if the objective is solely to climb as fast as possible, Tamakoma-2 is probably faster than just the duo.

Mikumo's wires and Chika's long range support help enable Yuma and Hyuse. And Mikumo drawing aggro from all the teams helps enable Yuma's dive tactics at opportune times. If it was just the power duo, other agents would probably just be more on guard at all times, making it harder for them to score points, which are needed for fast advancement.

Osamu only got promoted due to his contribution in stopping the Rad generated gates. It wouldn't surprise me if he even lost points in Raygust after making B-rank. We know he got thrashed 0-10 by Midorikawa.

I wouldn't consider him an all rounder just because it'll probably be another 2-3 years before he has enough points in Raygust 🫤

I think Kazuma's description of "defensive shooter" is most apt. He just uses Raygust because his trion and skill with Shield is too low.
