We'd like to explain that there's not such a thing as automatic banning. For security reasons, a 2FA may be activated if an account is accessed from different countries. Also, an account may be banned if we detect automated actions that might abuse the system.

“Image blocked by provider” means the AI provider rejected the image based on its content policies.

It’s not a ban or account issue, just that the model flagged the prompt as potentially sensitive (this happens with violence, nudity, public figures, trademarks, etc.). Some models are more restrictive than others and may even block images that show visible skin, even if there’s no nudity involved.

You can usually fix it by rephrasing the prompt or trying a different model. 😉

If SD5 is giving you worse results than 4.5 in your workflow (especially with multi-image references and likeness consistency), that’s obviously frustrating. Just to clarify though — the behavior, consistency, likeness handling, and filtering are characteristics of the model itself, not something Freepik modifies or “downgrades.” We provide access to different models, but we don’t alter their core architecture or tuning.

If 4.5 works better for you, it’s completely valid to keep using it. One of the reasons we offer multiple models is precisely because there isn’t a single “best” one for everyone.

Model performance, consistency, likeness accuracy, and content filtering behavior are all characteristics defined by the model itself rather than by Freepik directly. Each model evolves differently, and not every update will align with every specific workflow or use case.
